Staffing 100 Europe | 2020

Since 2014, Jurriën Koops has served as the managing director for ABU, the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies. Under Koops’ leadership, ABU, fellow organisation NBBU and the unions negotiated a collective labour agreement in 2019 for all of Netherland’s temporary workers. This is the first time that the industry has seen such an accomplishment in 25 years and is a major victory for Koops. In the coming years, ABU hopes to generate increased support for temporary work. ABU has outlined six strategic projects that focus on the quality and benefits of temporary employment to help them realise this goal.
