Earlier this year, Sebastian Lazay was elected president of the Federal Employers’ Association of Staffing Services (BAP) in Germany for the third time. He was first appointed to this role in 2017 after having served as vice president since 2011. Lazay is also managing director of the Hamburg-based staffing firm Extra-Personalservice GmbH and has been closely involved with temporary work for more than 20 years. He is a member of the executive committee of the BGA — the Federal Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services — and has been vice president of large-scale services since 2015.
