She achieved several milestones in 2022, including closing 16 acquisitions, welcoming a new majority shareholder — Bain Capital Private Equity. Coppens’ vision is to continue building on House of HR’s success and reputation as a talent powerhouse in Europe, connecting people to possibilities and shaping the world of tomorrow. She sits on several boards outside of work and also encourages companies to help disadvantaged people build career paths. Coppens was named by Belgium’s Trends magazine as Manager of the Year.

Ingrid Hofmann is CEO of I.K. Hofmann (also known as Hofmann Personal). Founded in 1985 in Nuremberg, Germany, I.K. Hofmann is one of the largest staffing agencies in Europe and one of the five largest staffing firms in Germany. I.K. Hofmann in 2010 was awarded the Ludwig Erhard Prize, the highest award for business excellence in Germany. I.K. Hofmann holds the Great Place to Work Platin Trust Champion Award and has been honoured 10 times in a row by the Great Place to Work Institute. Hofmann is a board member of the Federal Employment Agency and is an active member of the Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers, also known as BAP, and the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations, also known as BDA.

Carl Camden is president and CEO of Kelly Services, one of the largest staffing firms in the world and in Europe, although the company has reduced its European network in recent years. Having earned a doctorate by the age of 25, Camden has been a marketing executive for a bank holding company, co-president of an advertising agency and co-founder of a behavioural research group. He is also a tenured university professor. A recipient of numerous awards throughout his career, Camden is a member of The Committee for Economic Development (CED), the Business Roundtable, and also serves as a director of Temp Holdings, Co. Ltd.

Dr. Christian Speidel is chairman and CEO of 7S Group GmbH, the Germany-based firm ranks on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest global staffing firms. Speidel has also served as managing director of 7S Group since 1997. Prior to 7S, Speidel was chairman at RöderZeltsysteme und Service AG from 1994 to 1996, and he was managing director of Wilh. Ispert AG & Co. KG from 1987 to 1994. Speidel holds a doctorate from the University of Freiburg.

Rob Zandbergen, CEO of RGF Staffing B.V. and executive VP, head of staffing business of Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd, started in staffing in 2003 as CFO of Solvus N.V. Headquartered in the Netherlands, RGF Staffing is part of Recruit Holdings, the fifth-largest staffing firm in the world. Zandbergen in June oversaw the launch of RGF Connect, a global social programme focused on connecting underserved populations with education, training and jobs, furthering his and RGF Staffing’s vision of becoming the world’s most sustainable staffing company.

Nicola McQueen was appointed as CEO of NHS Professionals, the largest temporary staff supplier to the National Health Service, in September 2019. She initially joined NHS Professionals as interim COO in January 2019. She is passionate about workforce business issues, having spent the past 20 years supporting and creating effective staffing strategies across both the private and public sectors. McQueen is also CEO of Doctors Direct, the locum service of NHS Professionals. Most recently, she has led NHS Professionals through the coronavirus pandemic, successfully attracting tens of thousands of healthcare professionals into the NHS.

Samuel Tual is chairman of Groupe Actual, the tenth largest staffing firm in France and one of the top privately held staffing firms in the market. Tual co-founded Gérard Tual in 2001 with his father from the merger of their respective staffing firms. In 2014, Samuel Tual was able to secure funding from private equity partners CM-CIC Capital Finance and OuestCroissance in order to pursue the group’s growth strategy in its home market. In 2013 Tual led the acquisition of French firms ObjectifIntérim and Réalis RH.

Andreu Cruañas was appointed president of ASEMPLEO, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, in 2013. Cruañas represents the association in the World Employment Confederation. He is a member of the executive committee of Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain, also known as CEOE, and has been a board member of CEOE and the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises since 2013.

Cruañas is also a general council member of the Spanish Employment System (Ministry of Employment and Social Security) and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. In his career, Cruañas has alternated between roles in the public and private sector and was formerly the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government.

Bettina Schaller heads the group public affairs activities of The Adecco Group. She is also president of the World Employment Confederation as well as WEC-Europe and has been involved in the governance of the WEC for 10 years. In addition, she is a member of the B20 Employment and Education Task Force; cochair of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Business and Industry Advisory Committee Employment Labour and Social Affairs committee; steering group member on the World Economic Forum Center for New Economy and Society; steering group member of the Global Apprenticeship Network and president of the American Swiss Young Leaders Alumni Foundation.

Natalia Shuman is senior VP and general manager, EMEA and APAC regions, Kelly Services Inc. Shuman also serves as COO of Kelly’s joint venture, TS Kelly Workforce Solutions, in North Asia. She joined Kelly in 1997 and was responsible for successfully launching Kelly’s recruitment business in the Moscow market and later moved to New York to launch Kelly’s Wall Street office. Since 2008, Shuman has been managing global account teams and developing global programmes for Kelly. Over the last two years, she has also served as vice president of Global Solutions.
