Jurriën Koops was appointed director of the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies (ABU) in 2014, having joined the organisation in 2002. In addition to his work with ABU, Koops is also a board member of the Association of Payroll Companies (VPO) and chairman of the Foundation for Training and Development in the Flexible Staffing Industry (STOOF). Prior to joining ABU, Koops worked as a policy advisor for trade union CNV, which represents the interests of workers in construction, the industrial sector, transportation, food, and services. He was also a senior consultant for business development for Dutch staffing firm Start People, a USG People company.

Steven Quinn was appointed CEO, Americas, of SThree in December 2013, after serving as the COO officer since 2012. Prior to that, he was group managing director of SThree’s brands across the UK, Ireland, Benelux and the Middle East. Quinn came to the company from the Real Staffing Group (formerly Real IT) in 2010, where he was managing director. He is a lawyer by training. Sthree is ranked 18th in Staffing Industry Analysts’ UK Largest Staffing Report.

Carmen Watson joined Pertemps in 1976 as a secretary and by 1983 had progressed to the boardroom as commercial director. From 1983 to 2000, she was responsible for the formation of a corporate business team and turnover grew tenfold from £32m to £323m. In, 2000,Watson was named managing director and then became chairperson in 2012. A long-term supporter of diversity in the workplace, Watson is one of the foremost speakers on women in the boardroom.

Ingrid Hofmann is CEO of I.K. Hofmann (also known as Hofmann Personal). Founded in 1985 in Nuremberg, I.K. Hofmann is one of the largest staffing agencies in Europe and one of the 10 largest staffing firms in Germany. In 2010, I.K. Hofmann was awarded the Ludwig Erhard Prize, the highest award for business excellence in Germany. I.K. Hofmann holds the Great Place to Work Gold Trust Champion Award for being honoured seven times in a row, most recently in 2015. Hofmann is a member of the board of the Federal Employment Agency and is an active member of the Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers Association (BAP) and the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA).

Volker Enkerts is the president of the Federal Employers’ Association of Staffing Services (BAP), largest German trade organisation. In 1992, Enkerts became a board member of the German Association of Private Employment (BZA), and then president in 2004. The BZA and the Employers’ Association of Medium‐Sized Personnel Services (AMP), merged in 2010/2011 to form BAP, and Enkerts was elected president after the merger. Enkerts has also been a board member of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA), since 1998. Since 1989, he has run the Hamburg‐based company FLEX‐TIME GmbH as owner and Managing Director.

Tig Gilliam was appointed CEO of NES Global Talent, a specialist provider of engineering talent solutions, in 2014.He joined the board of directors in 2013.Prior to NES Global Talent, Gilliam was operating partner for AEA Investors LP., a private equity firm.From 2007 to 2012, he was regional head and executive committee member of Adecco Group North America. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at PwC Consulting and IBM Global Business Services, leading the global supply chain management practice. Gilliam is chairman of NY-based Work Market Inc., the freelance management system used by businesses to manage their independent contractors.

Andreu Cruañas became president of ASEMPLEO, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, in 2013. Cruañas represents ASEMPLEO in Eurociett and CIETT. He is on the executive committee of Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE) and has been a board member of CEOE and the SpanishConfederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) since 2013. Cruañas is also a member of the General Council of the Spanish Employment System (Ministry of Employment and Social Security) and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. In his career, Cruañas has alternated between roles in the public and private sector and was formerly the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government.

Frits Goldschmeding is the founder, former president and CEO of Randstad Holding. Under his leadership the company became one of the largest staffing firms in the world. In March 2011 he stepped down from the company but remains the largest shareholder. On his 80th birthday in 2013, Goldschmeding was awarded the Gold Medal of the City of Amsterdam, the highest honour the city can bestow. The Gold Medal is typically awarded to mayors at the end of their term in office; however, under exceptional circumstances, it is also presented to persons who have made outstanding contributions to Amsterdam. Notable recipients include Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Dwight Eisenhower.

Samuel Tual is chairman of Groupe Actual, the tenth largest staffing firm in France and one of the top privately held staffing firms in the market. Tual co-founded Gérard Tual in 2001 with his father from the merger of their respective staffing firms. In 2014, Samuel Tual was able to secure funding from private equity partners CM-CIC Capital Finance and OuestCroissance in order to pursue the group’s growth strategy in its home market. In 2013 Tual led the acquisition of French firms ObjectifIntérim and Réalis RH.

He is a successful businessman, philanthropist, pollster and former deputy chairman of the Conservative Party between 2005 and 2010., In 2010, his 57 percent holding of Impellam was transferred to his children and “remoter issue.” According to The Sunday Times, his personal fortune is estimated to be more than €1 billion, half of which he has pledged to donate to charity.
