Jean-François Denoy has held various positions during his career with Manpower, alternating operational management responsibilities with HR positions. He returned to the HR organisation in 2000 to take charge of the training department, then of career management and HR development. Serving as HR director from 2006 to 2010, Denoy was appointed HR & services managing director of ManpowerGroup France in 2011, and became managing director in 2012. Denoy holds master’s degrees in administrative & strategic management and human resources.

Mark Verstraete is the managing director of T-Groep, the sixth-largest staffing firm in Belgium and the 31stlargest in Europe with operations in the Netherlands and Poland. In 2008, Verstraete led the acquisition of the Dutch privately held human resource company Luba by T-Groep, starting its international expansion and strengthening its position in the Benelux market for personnel services. In 2016, the group announced it is looking for new investors to fund further expansion plans. Verstraete currently sits at the management board of Federgon, the Belgian staffing association, as the president of the Temporary Agency Work Commission.

Julia Robertson’s recruitment career started in 1979 and took off when she founded her own recruitment business, The Agency, in 1986. In 1996, she took the helm of another recruitment firm, Tate, which she sold alongside The Agency in 2000 to Carlisle Staffing Services. Robertson then held several managing director roles within the Carlisle group. Robertson became divisional CEO of Impellam UK and was appointed group chief executive officer of the Impellam Group in April 2013. Robertson served as chief executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants, now known as REC, from 1993 to 1996. Robertson stands for high integrity leadership, delivering on promises and her vision is to build the world’s most trusted staffing company.

Albert Ellis is the CEO of the Harvey Nash Group. Originally appointed to the board in 2000 as CFO, he became CEO in 2005. Ellis joined Harvey Nash in 1998 from Hays plc. Before that, he worked in the accounting and auditing profession after qualifying as a chartered accountant. He is on the board of Asia House and is an advisor at London City University’s Cass Business School for its information leadership course.

Sergio Picarelli was appointed Regional Head of Italy, Eastern Europe & MENA and India in October 2015. In 1993, Picarelli joined Adecco in Italy, starting as managing director of an Adecco Group Company (Permanent Placement). In 1997, he was appointed chief sales and marketing director, Italy. From 2002 to 2004 Picarelli served as regional head for Central Europe and was thereafter appointed chief operating officer of Adecco Staffing Division Worldwide. From 2005 to 2009 he served as country manager of Adecco Italy & Switzerland (Switzerland until the end of 2008). From January 2009 until his appointment as chief sales officer in October 2009, he served as chief international sales officer of the Adecco Group. Picarelli graduated in business administration from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

Natalia Shuman is SVP and GM, EMEA and APAC regions for Kelly Services. Shuman joined Kelly in 1997 and launched the company’s recruitment business in the Moscow market. She has taken responsibility for managing Kelly’s largest and most complex customer programs across the US, Europe and Asia and led strategic cross-divisional projects with focus on results and value creation for the customer. In 2011, Shuman moved to Singapore to focus on Kelly’s customers and partners in the APAC region. She sits on the boards of Kelly’s recently expanded North Asia joint venture, TS Kelly Asia Pacific as well as Ciett.

At the end of 2015, Federico Vione was appointed chief sales and innovation officer for Adecco. He originally joined Adecco in 1998 as a temp. In 2001 he became country manager of Ajilon Italy and then Switzerland in 2003. In 2005, Vione was appointed project leader, global account management, and subsequently head of Eastern Europe & Russia. In 2008, he was appointed country manager of Adecco Italy and in 2009 regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & MENA. In 2011, he assumed responsibility of India & North Africa. Vione has been president and then VP of Assolavoro (Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies) till 2015.

Stefan Kölbl is chairman of German firm Dekra SE, which includes Dekra Personnel, a temporary work and training & education division of the company that posted revenue of €467.1 million in 2015. Kölbl joined Dekra in 2000 after working as a management consultant. He became chairman in 2010. In 2003, Kölbl was appointed managing director of the economically ailing Dekra Akademie. Within only two years, Kölbl succeeded in turning around what is today’s largest private training service provider in Germany. He was then assigned to Dekra’s automotive services unit in 2006.

Margriet Spijker is general manager of private Dutch staffing firm Timing, a part of the ADG services group. According to research from SIA, Timing is the sixth-largest staffing firm in the Netherlands. She joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and held various management positions, including deputy manager, before being appointed general manager in 2012.
