Alistair Cox is chief executive of Hays, the global recruitment agency, and has held that position since 2007. He began his career at British Aerospace, subsequently moving to Schlumberger in 1982 where he held a number of roles in field engineering, management and research science based in Europe and the USA. After earning his MBA in 1991, he was a manager at McKinsey & Co. before joining Blue Circle Industries plc (now known as Lafarge), initially as group strategy director and then as regional director for Asia. Returning to the UK in 2002, Cox was appointed CEO of Xansa plc, the IT outsourcing organisation, before joining Hays in 2007. He was also a board member of 3i Group plc from 2009 to 2015 and currently serves on the board of food delivery service Just Eat.

Kevin Barrow is a partner with international law firm Osborne Clarke LLP. Since 1990, he has advised staffing companies on all types of legal work, including commercial deals, international joint ventures and M&A. His multi-country team has advised on about half of the higher-value staffing M&A transactions in the EMEA region since 2010, and works for more than 100 hirers and suppliers on market-leading UK, EU and international flexible workforce (MSP, RPO and VMS) projects. His team is a well-regarded advisor on regulation of digital recruitment and online exchanges, tax planning relating to flexible workforces, and worker misclassification and co-employment class actions. Barrow has led a campaign to change the regulatory regime affecting online exchanges, and has rolled out staffing/MSP deals in 40 countries in the last four years.

In addition to managing Trenkwalder Group AG, he focuses on sales, growth and business development. Erciyaz, an MBA, has more than 23 years of executive experience in international corporate and business development. He started his career at Preussag AG and held leadership positions for various units of the Bertelsmann Group, including country CEO positions in BeNeLux, Portugal and Turkey, as well as group-level executive vice president positions for corporate development and M&A.

Chris Heutink started his career at Randstad as a consultant in the Netherlands in 1991. He would go on to hold various management positions and in 2004 he was promoted to managing director of Randstad Poland. After moving back to the Netherlands in 2007, he became director of operations. In 2009, he was appointed managing director of Randstad Netherlands. Heutink is responsible for all operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe (Poland, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary), as well as for global client solutions. He was appointed to the executive board in 2014.

Annemarie Muntz is president of the World Employment Confederation, the voice of the employment industry at the global level, representing labour-market enablers in 50 countries and seven of the largest international workforce solutions companies. She chaired its European counterpart, WEC-Europe, from 2005 to 2018. She is an influential lobbyist in the international arena representing the interests of the employment and recruitment industry at large. In addition to her role at WEC, Muntz is managing director of global public affairs for Randstad. She is cochair of the B20 Employment & Education Taskforce, coordinates the IBA Global Employment Institute’s Advisory Board and sits on the board of CSR Europe.

Upwork connects 15 million freelancers to more than 5 million companies across more than 180 countries. Kasriel came to the company in 2012 as senior VP of engineering. In 2015, after he was named CEO, he led the company’s rebranding from Elance-oDesk. He also co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Education, Gender and Work. Kasriel’s expertise in the future of work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and Bloomberg Review. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MS from Stanford and a BS from Ecole Polytechnique in France.

Leen Geirnaerdt is CFO of Netherlands based Recruit Global Staffing, previously known as USG People until it changed its name on 1 January 2018. Recruit Global Staffing is responsible for managing all of Recruit Group’s staffing activities. Prior to becoming group CFO in 2010, Geirnaerdt held various senior management positions within the group, including that of general manager of USG People Belgium’s shared service centre transactions and support. Geirnaerdt studied economics at the University of Antwerp and then served as audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers before serving as corporate controller at Solvus NV until the firm was acquired by USG People.

Prising was president from 2012 to 2014, leading the company’s operations in the Americas and Southern Europe. A recognised expert on the labour market, the impact of digitisation on skills and future world of work trends, Prising regularly speaks at conferences and summits around the world. He is actively engaged in the World Economic Forum, including as a steward of the future of education, gender and work global system; co-chair of the Regional Business Council of Europe; and CEO champion of the Digital Transformation Initiative. He received the Albert E. Suter Award for Exceptional Leadership in 2014.

AS CFO, he leads group finance and accounting, business control, M&A, tax, treasury, business risk and audit, legal, and investor relations. He previously worked with Unilever, most recently as executive VP, finance, for Unilever Europe. From 2012 to 2016, Schirmer led the finance function for Unilever North America. Before that, from 2008 to 2012, he was VP of finance for Unilever Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He was previously a board member of the Results for Development Institute.
