George Corona was named president and CEO of Kelly Services in May 2017. Headquartered in Michigan, USA, Kelly Services is one of the largest global workforce solutions providers, with revenue of US$5.28 billion in 2016. Corona joined the company in 1994 and has held numerous leadership roles throughout the last two decades. He served as US middle-market leader (where he helped launch Kelly Educational Staffing) before being named executive VP of the Americas. He was promoted to executive VP and COO in 2009 and assumed responsibility for all of Kelly’s global operations. Corona also served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Advisory Council on Agriculture, Small Business and Labor.

Claude Guedj, a pioneer and innovator in the French staffing industry, has been chairman and CEO of Groupe CRIT since 2002. He founded the company in 1962 when it was known as Industrial and Technical Research Centre, an office of studies and calculations serving the mechanical, electrical and computer industries. The group then expanded its service offerings to temporary work. Guedj was first appointed to the board in 1969. Under his management, the group rose to rank among the five largest staffing firms in France, and the largest 20 globally. In 2017, the group reported revenue of €2.42 billion.

As deputy CEO of Robert Walters plc, Giles Daubeney works closely with the chairman and the board, taking a more active role in the company’s strategy while also maintaining the responsibilities of his previous COO role. He joined the company in 1988 and became deputy CEO in January 2016. From 1990 to 1994, he was based in Amsterdam and responsible for the group’s Dutch and Belgian operations. Daubeney became COO in 1999, and was appointed to the board in 2000. Prior to Robert Walters, Daubeney worked in recruitment for Accountancy Selection Ltd. and Badenoch & Clark Ltd.

As CEO of freelancing website Upwork, Stephane Kasriel drives the company’s vision of connecting businesses with talent faster than ever. Upwork connects 15 million freelancers to more than 5 million companies across more than 180 countries. Kasriel came to the company in 2012 as senior VP of engineering. In 2015, after he was named CEO, he led the company’s rebranding from Elance-oDesk. He also co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Education, Gender and Work. Kasriel’s expertise in the future of work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and Bloomberg Review. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MS from Stanford and a BS from Ecole Polytechnique in France.

Daniel Augereau is chairman and CEO of Synergie, the sixth-largest staffing firm in France. In 2017, the group reported revenue of €2.3 billion with international operations representing more than 50% of Synergie’s revenue during the year. Augereau trained as a technical blue-collar worker in the aeronautic industry and soon after founded his first staffing firm, Europe Technique Assistance, in 1969. After merging with another staffing firm 10 years later, the company rebranded as Synergie. It has continued to expand throughout Europe, including with the acquisition of HR firm Völker in Austria. Its Acorn subsidiary is at the core of the group’s expansion strategy in the UK and Australia.

Federico Vione first joined The Adecco Group in 1999 as branch manager and has held a variety of leadership roles since; he was appointed regional head of North America, UK & Ireland, Adecco and Pontoon in April 2017 and has been a member of The Adecco Group Executive Committee since 2009. Other roles include chief sales and innovation officer from October 2015 to March 2017; regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & India from 2011 to 2015 (including MENA as of 2012); and regional head of Italy and Eastern Europe from October 2009 to August 2011. Vione served as VP of Assolavoro Italy between 2010 and 2012.

Chris Pullen was appointed group chief executive of Staffline in January 2018. He joined the company in 2015 and was initially responsible for group mergers and acquisitions. He was designated as group CFO and an executive member of the board in 2016. He is also a member of the nominations committee. Pullen first joined the group from Regus PLC, the FTSE 250-listed provider of flexible working solutions, where he was global managing director of its core Office division. He previously held the role of CEO of APCOA Parking (UK) Ltd., which provides parking services across the UK, where he led a turnaround and subsequent significant growth, as well as senior management positions at ITC Legal Services Ltd and National Car Parks Ltd.

Gary Elden became CEO of SThree in 2013, after serving as its deputy CEO since June 2012. Before that, Elden was SThree’s chief strategy officer. He has held a number of senior positions, including that of founding managing director of Huxley Associates. Elden joined SThree’s IT recruitment brand, Computer Futures, as a recruitment consultant in 1990 and in 2008 he was appointed to the board. In 2016, Queen Elizabeth II awarded Elden an Officer for the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in recognition of his services to diversity in business. The year prior, he won the prestigious Black British Business Person of the Year award.

John L. Marshall III has led The Adecco Group’s North America, UK & Ireland, professional staffing region since April 2017. Prior to this, he was the regional head of UK & Ireland from October 2015 to March 2017. Marshall was a practicing attorney with King & Spalding and AT&T before he joined MPS Group in 1998. He joined MPS Group as deputy general counsel with an emphasis on acquisitions and public company reporting. He was promoted to president of Special Counsel in 2001 and named president of Accounting Principals in 2006. Adecco Group named Marshall president of its US finance, office and legal business unit after it acquired MPS Group in 2010.

In 2012, Linda Galipeau was appointed to Randstad’s executive board and is the only woman on it. In the same year, she was designated as CEO of Randstad North America. She is responsible for Randstad’s operations in the US, Canada and Ireland, as well as Monster Worldwide, RiseSmart and Randstad Sourceright. Galipeau also chairs the Randstad Innovation Fund, a strategic corporate venture fund that invests in early stage HR technology companies. Her career in the staffing industry began as a permanent placement consultant in 1988. In 1995 she joined Randstad as a district manager in the US, and founded the company’s Canada operations in 1997. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, Galipeau supports Randstad’s Hire Hope programme, which assists underserved and at-risk women with career-readiness training, apprenticeship programmes and employment services.
