Alistair Cox is group CEO of global recruitment agency Hays plc, having held that position since 2007. He is a chartered engineer with a degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Salford. He also holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in California, US. Cox began his career at British Aerospace and eventually moved into staffing, having been appointed chief executive at Xansa plc, the IT outsourcing organisation, before joining Hays. He has also served as a non-executive director at 3i Plc and at Just Eat, and is currently chairman of the British and Irish Modern Music Institute.

Heap has been a member of the Hays management board for many years and is responsible for 16 of the 33 countries in Hays. He joined Hays UK in 1988 as a trainee consultant. A few promotions later, in 2012, Heap was appointed UK & Ireland managing director and chairman of the Asia Pacific business, and in 2017 he was appointed managing director of 12 countries in the EMEA region.

In addition, the SThree Foundation in 2019 collaborated with 10 not-forprofit STEM organisations to deliver programmes that engaged 4,365 underserved people in STEM education and careers. Dorman now leads the global STEM recruitment company as it manages through the Covid-19 crisis and continues to take market share, increase operating capabilities and strengthen relationships. SThree counts more than 9,000 clients and 3,000 employees in 16 countries; half-year 2020 revenue was £602.6 million.

This was followed by a 13-year career at Exel plc where he held a number of senior finance and operational roles, including deputy group finance director, and was a member of Exel plc’s executive board and chairman of its acquisitions and project review board.

Agostino Di Miao is general manager of Assolavoro, the Italian National Association for Employment Agencies representing more than 85% of the country’s market. Assolavoro faced a steep challenge this past year with the government’s introduction of the “Dignity Decree,” which would put tens of thousands of jobs at risk due to contract length and renewal limits. Di Miao and his team, along with trade unions, worked tirelessly to prepare and draft the Collective Labour Agreement to minimise this negative impact. Additionally, they promoted a high-impact advertising campaign to change the overall perception of the industry in Italy.

Alain Dehaze is CEO of The Adecco Group, a role he has held since September 2015. Adecco ranks No. 2 on SIA’s list of Largest Global Staffing Firms. He became chair of the Global Apprenticeship Network in 2016. He has been a member of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work since 2017. Dehaze is also a steward of the World Economic Forum system initiative on education, gender and work and is co-chair of the Governors for the World Economic Forum’s Professional Services Industry Community. Furthermore, Dehaze was VP of the board of the World Employment Confederation Europe and a WEC board member from 2010 to 2015.

In 2018, Gobinet oversaw the acquisition of Inter Conseil. He has been awarded the Chevalier Ordre National du Mérite (National Order of Merit).

A member of the executive committee since 2015, Catoir joined Groupe Adecco France as internal auditor in 1995. By 2005, he was appointed head of permanent placement activities in France, and became a member of the Groupe Adecco France management team in 2007. In 2009, Catoir was appointed managing director of Adecco South-East France and in 2012 took over as managing director for Professional Staffing Groupe Adecco France.

In 2015, Goldsmith co-founded the Recruitment Directors Lunch Club, a fast-growing network for aspiring recruitment business leaders.
