Weston is on the board of Bristol tech startup Hapori, which focuses on personal training and fitness. Farida Gibbs founded Gibbs Hybrid in 2005 as a globally certified woman-owned and ethnic minority-owned business. She successfully guided the firm through a challenging UK business environment last year, overseeing a management buyout and investing in overseas operations across Dublin, Luxemburg, Poland and the US. Gibbs Hybrid in 2018 won four major contracts with a combined value of £30 million over the next five years that support Fortune 500 clients including a bank, a digital technology company, a multinational biopharmaceutical company and a financial services corporation. Gibbs also sits on the WBE Council’s advisory board for WEConnect International.

Matthew Rodger, Alexander Mann Solutions’ chief growth and commercial officer since 2017, has been with the London-based RPO and MSP provider for nearly 20 years. Rodger wears many hats, including overseeing the commercialisation of AMS’ products and services, new logo development and significant business development of existing customers, as well as managing all corporate mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, he led AMS to the successful acquisition of Karen AI, its first foray into proprietary direct-to-market technology now called Hourly. Known as a creative solution provider, Rodger has been recognized by august organisations for his contributions to the industry.

James Reed is chairman of Reed Global, which has 3,000 employees working in 140 locations worldwide. Reed joined the company in 1992 after graduating from Harvard Business School. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and was formerly an associate of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit and a member of the Institute for Public Policy Research’s business-led taskforce on race equality and diversity in the private sector. Reed is a regular media commentator on work and labour market issues. A chartered accountant and also US qualified, Paul Venables was appointed group finance director of Hays plc in 2006 and has helped transform the company into a preeminent global specialist recruitment business with operations in 33 countries. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche as senior manager in its US practice. This was followed by a 13-year career at Exel plc where he held a number of senior finance and operational roles, including deputy group finance director, and was a member of Exel plc’s executive board and chairman of its acquisitions and project review board.

Steve Ingham is CEO of PageGroup, one of the largest global staffing firms. Ingham joined the company in 1987 — when it was still known as Michael Page — as a consultant. He became operating director in 1990 and was appointed to progressively larger roles until becoming CEO in 2006. The group now employs 7,500 people in 36 countries and in 2018 reported more than £800 million in gross profit. Ingham ranked in Glassdoor’s Top CEO list for 2018. The company has also won a number of awards, including recently the Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agency on LinkedIn and Britain’s Most Admired Companies Award in the Support Services, People and Places sector category.

CEO of the Impellam Group, Julia Robertson, began her recruitment career in 1979. She founded her own recruitment business, The Agency, in 1986. In 1996, Robertson assumed leadership of Tate, which she sold, alongside The Agency, to Carlisle Staffing Services in 2000. Robertson then held several leadership roles for brands within the Carlisle group, including SRG, Tate and Carlisle Managed Solutions. Following the merger of Carlisle Staffing Services and the Corporate Services Group in 2008, Robertson became divisional CEO of Impellam UK and was appointed group CEO of Impellam Group in 2013. Robertson was chief executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants, which later merged with the Federation of Recruitment and Employment Services to form REC, from 1993 to 1996.
