Margriet Spijker is founder and managing director of Dutch staffing firm Timing, a part of the ADG services group. According to Staffing Industry Analysts, Timing was the fifth-largest staffing firm in the Netherlands in 2017. Spijker has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, having joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and holding various management positions, including deputy manager, before being appointed general manager in 2012.

As managing corporate executive officer at Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd., Rob Zandbergen leads Recruit group’s global staffing business unit, RGF Staffing. Headquartered in the Netherlands, RGF Staffing is one of the world’s leading HR service providers, with annual revenue of approximately US$12 billion. Previously, Zandbergen was CEO and CFO of the publicly listed USG People. Active in the staffing sector since early 2003, Zandbergen has held various international and national executive and supervisory positions at publicly listed companies. Under his leadership, the staffing business of Recruit and the activities of USG People were successfully combined in a global business unit as part of the Recruit group network.

 

Robert Jan van de Kraats

Robert Jan van de Kraats has been CFO of Randstad since 2001 and was appointed vice chairman of the executive board in 2006. He is responsible for control, strategy and M&A, finance and accounting, legal, tax, treasury, business risk and audit, IT, and investor relations for the Group for operations in Japan, India, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Austria. A qualified chartered accountant, van de Kraats started his career with one of the big four accountancy firms before joining Randstad in 1989. In May 2015, he became a board member of the supervisory board of Schiphol Group.

Dimitri Yocarini is CEO and a majority shareholder of Olympia, the seventh-largest staffing firm in the Netherlands. He is also a board member of the Dutch Federation of Private Employment Agencies (ABU). Yocarini and the ABU board last year published research into the future of work in the Netherlands and what the labour market would look like in 2030. Yocarini sees the Dutch labour market becoming more unbalanced in terms of labour supply and demand but says the goal of the temporary employment sector is to contribute to a “balanced and vital” labour market. He hopes the research will lead to discussions that will inform future strategy.

After writing a thesis on temporary work as part of his master’s degree in economics, Frits Goldschmeding, together with a fellow student, founded Uitzendbureau Amstelveen (later Randstad Uitzendbureau) in 1960. He held the CEO position for 38 years, growing the company and actively lobbying to improve the image of the staffing industry as well as strengthen the legal position of staffing employees. Goldschmeding joined the supervisory board of Randstad Holding in 1999 and retired from that position in 2011. In 2015, he founded the Goldschmeding Foundation, which supports projects that respond to important societal issues involving people, work and economy.

Robert Jan van de Kraats became Randstad Holding nv’s CFO in 2001 and vice chairman of the executive board in 2006. He is responsiblefor group finance and accounting, tax, treasury, business risk and audit, IT and investor relations.He is also responsible for Randstad’s operations in India and the Yacht business. A qualified chartered accountant, vande Kraats began his career with one of the big four accountancy firms and from 1989 until joining Randstad, he held various senior finance positions in the technology and credit insurance sectors. Between 2004 and November 2013, van de Kraats was supervisory board member of two listed Dutch companies.

Rob Zandbergen is CEO of Recruit Global Staffing in the Netherlands. The group was previously known as USG People until it changed its name on 1 January 2018. Recruit Global Staffing is responsible for managing all of Recruit Group’s staffing activities. Zandbergen was appointed as the CEO of USG People in 2010, after serving as the company’s CFO since 2005. He was CFO of Belgian staffing group Solvus between 2003 and 2005, when the company was acquired by USG People. In addition to his work at Recruit Global Staffing, Zandbergen is a member of the supervisory board of the Dutch Flower Group and was appointed to the supervisory board of Dutch energy company Eneco Holding in March 2015.

Annemarie Muntz is president of Ciett, the International Confederation of Private Employment Services, and its European counterpart Eurociett. She is an influential lobbyist in the European Union, representing the interests of the employment and recruitment industry. In addition to her roles at Ciett and Eurociett, Muntz is director of group public affairs for Randstad. She also sits on the board of CSR Europe, a European business network for corporate social responsibility.

Jan Arie van Barneveld has been CEO of Brunel International since 2000. Van Barneveld started his career as a senior manager at Coopers & Lybrand, which merged with Price Waterhouse in 1998 to form PwC. He then held successive management positions at companies in Belgium and the Netherlands. His most recent position before moving to Brunel International was director of Avero Life & Mortgages, which is part of the Achmea Insurance Group.

As managing director, J.H. “Jurriën” Koops is responsible for the daily management of ABU. He entered staffing in 1999 as a senior consultant in business development at the Start employment agency. He’s been with ABU since 2002 and has been managing director since 2014. He is a member of several boards, including the Foundation for Training and Development in the Flexible Staffing Industry (Doorzaam), VNO-NCW (the national employers’ organisation in the Netherlands) and UWV Werkbedrijf, which offers employers information and facilities to find personnel and helps job seekers to find work.
