Chris Heutink started his career at Randstad as a consultant in the Netherlands in 1991. He would go on to hold various management positions and in 2004 he was promoted to managing director of Randstad Poland. After moving back to the Netherlands in 2007, he became director of operations. In 2009, he was appointed managing director of Randstad Netherlands. Heutink is responsible for all operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe (Poland, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary), as well as for global client solutions. He was appointed to the executive board in 2014.

Frits Goldschmeding is the founder, former president and CEO of Randstad Holding. Under his leadership the company became one of the largest staffing firms in the world. In March 2011 he stepped down from the company but remains the largest shareholder. On his 80th birthday in 2013, Goldschmeding was awarded the Gold Medal of the City of Amsterdam, the highest honour the city can bestow. The Gold Medal is typically awarded to mayors at the end of their term in office; however, under exceptional circumstances, it is also presented to persons who have made outstanding contributions to Amsterdam. Notable recipients include Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela and Dwight Eisenhower.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, RGF Staffing is one of the world’s leading HR service providers, with annual revenue of approximately US$12 billion. Previously, Zandbergen was CEO and CFO of the publicly listed USG People. Active in the staffing sector since early 2003, Zandbergen has held various international and national executive and supervisory positions at publicly listed companies. Under his leadership, the staffing business of Recruit and the activities of USG People were successfully combined in a global business unit as part of the Recruit group network.

Throughout her tenure at Kelly, Koolhaas has played a crucial role in the EMEA region’s ability to deliver solid returns, developing strong teams and implementing flexible operating models that enable the region to contribute more profit to Kelly’s bottom line.

Patrick Tiessen began Nétive, a VMS provider, with two customers; today, the organisation has more than 200. As co-founder and CEO, Tiessen continues to expand the company by opening offices in Rijswijk, the Netherlands and London. He has held key positions at The Next Flex and HR Puzzle and also worked at Kelly as an international IT manager. Passionate about entrepreneurship, Tiessen believes in maintaining transparency and focuses on making software to support all facets of recruiting, selecting, contracting and managing permanent and temporary employees. Nétive was featured in the Best Small Workplaces 2020 list in the Netherlands.

CEO and chair of the executive board since 2014, Jacques van den Broek is responsible for The Randstad Group’s operations in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay). In addition, van den Broek oversees business concept development, HR and public affairs. He joined Randstad in 2004 as a branch manager. Under his leadership, Randstad has made significant progress in realizing its ultimate goal to impact 500 million work lives by 2030. He is also proud of the joint industry alliance spearheaded by Randstad NV, The Adecco Group and ManpowerGroup to enable companies and workers to return to work safely.

Margriet Spijker is founder and managing director of Dutch staffing firm Timing, a part of the ADG services group. According to Staffing Industry Analysts, Timing was the fifth-largest staffing firm in the Netherlands in 2017. Spijker has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, having joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and holding various management positions, including deputy manager, before being appointed general manager in 2012.

Ron Icke is chairman of the supervisory boards of German staffing firm Orizon GmbH and Dutch staffing firm DPA; positions he has held since 2011 and 2010, respectively. In 1995 he joined Goudsmit (part of USG People) as CFO, being promoted to CEO in 2005. In 2006 he was appointed CEO and chairman of the board of USG People, a position he held until 2009. Icke qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC before becoming CFO of investment company WolterSchaberg, where he developed his expertise in both acquisitions and temporary staffing.

Frits Goldschmeding founded Uitzendbureau Amstelveen in 1960, and in 1964 renamed it Randstad. Goldschmeding took Randstad public in 1990, and in 2008, merged it with the Dutch group Vedior. He was CEO until 1999 and a member of the supervisory board until 2011 but remains the largest shareholder. Goldschmeding has a doctorate from the VU University Amsterdam and is also a professor at the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Nyenrode Business University.

Annemarie Muntz is president of Ciett, the International Confederation of Private Employment Services, and its European counterpart Eurociett. She is an influential lobbyist in the European Union, representing the interests of the employment and recruitment industry. In addition to her roles at Ciett and Eurociett, Muntz is director of group public affairs for Randstad. She also sits on the board of CSR Europe, a European business network for corporate social responsibility.
