Maria Raffaella Caprioglio is president of Umana SpA, which ranked fifth on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2017 list of largest staffing firms in Italy. She joined Umana in 1998, and in 2001 joined Umana’s board of directors. Caprioglio became VP in 2007 and president in 2012. Her career took off when, at the age of 23, she joined what was then known as the Industrial Association for the province of Venice, becoming the first woman to hold office within that organisation. Caprioglio is a member of the general council of industrial association Assolombarda Confindustria Milano and is a member of its ICT Group Council and Business Services committee.

Rosario Rasizza is CEO of Openjobmetis, which he launched (as Openjob) in 2000 to take advantage of the rapidly developing staffing market and was rebranded in 2012 following the acquisition of Metis.In 2003, he embarked on a rapid expansion scheme through a series of acquisitions. Rasizza was awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2008 and was nominated president of Assosomm, an association representing employment agencies in Italy, in 2013. He founded Globalservice in the early 1990s and in 1997, with the introduction of new legislation regulating temporary agencies in Italy, Rasizza opened the first temporary staffing agency in Varese.OpenjobMetis is the fifth largest staffing firm in Italy according to a Staffing Industry analysts largest staffing firm report in Italy.

Francesco Baroni was named country manager of Gi Group Italy in 2019. In addition to coordinating the activities of Gi Group’s various brands, he leads the strategic development of an integrated value proposition to meet the increasingly complex needs of companies and candidates. He joined Gi Group in 2014 as a business innovation and technology management senior executive. Baroni previously worked for consulting firms and public institutions, including IBM and the Regione Lombardia Government. In 2007, Agostino Di Maio became general manager of Assolavoro, the National Association of Staffing Agencies, in Italy. Founded in October 2006 from the merger of the three pre-existing representative agencies, Assolavoro represents the employment agencies that produce about 85% of the total turnover linked to the administration of work and count more than 2,500 branches throughout Italy. Prior to Assolavoro, Di Maio was director of human resources for Alitalia Compagnia Aerea Italiana SpA, a company that provides air transportation services to passengers in Italy and internationally. In 2016, Di Maio contributed to the book Vent’anni e un giorno di riforme del lavoro (20 years and one day of labour reforms).

Federico Vione first joined The Adecco Group in 1999 as branch manager and has held a variety of leadership roles since; in 2019, he was appointed regional head of North America, UK & Ireland General Staffing & Latin America. He has been a member of The Adecco Group’s executive committee since 2009. Prior roles include chief sales and innovation officer from October 2015 to March 2017; regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & India from 2011 to 2015 (including MENA as of 2012); and regional head of Italy and Eastern Europe from October 2009 to August 2011. Vione served as VP of Assolavoro Italy between 2010 and 2012.
