Maciej Witucki became management board president of Work Service SA in January 2016, having been a member of the supervisory board since 2013. He has extensive professional experience in management of international companies having served as president of Polish telecommunications provider Orange Polska between 2006 and 2013. From 2002 to 2006, Witucki was a member of the management board, and later president of Lukas Bank. In 2015, Witucki joined the supervisory board of TVN SA. A graduate of Poznan University of Technology and with postgraduate studies in the field of logistics and industrial engineering in Ecole Centrale Paris in France, Witucki also completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.

Tomasz Hanczarek is co-founder, longtime member of the supervisory board, and since 2010, president of the management board of Work Service S.A. An important contributor to the Polish labour market, Hanczarekand is responsible for developing HR outsourcing in the region. A management board member of the National Labour Centre since 2014, he also serves as the chairman of the supervisory board of Work Express and the vice-chairman of the supervisory board of Finance Care. Hanczarek is a graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics and author of academic papers in the field of macro- and microeconomics.

Iwona Szmitkowska became president of Work Service in March 2019, taking charge of the company’s current aim of completing the restructuring of its business. She plans to focus on further business development within the Polish and German markets. Prior to her appointment as president, she was VP of the management board of Work Service. Her previous roles in Work Service include customer service department director, regional director, branch manager and branch director. Szmitkowska also worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief for Polish-based Radio Pomože. In 2017, she became president of the management board of the Employment Agencies Association, the largest Polish organization specializing in delivering HR services.

As president of Work Service from March 2019 to August 2020, Iwona Szmitkowska led the company through a restructuring process and was a key player in the majority stake acquisition of Work Service by Gi Group. Returning to her role of president in January 2021, she turned her focus within the Polish market on automation of HR processes, HR restructuring, recruitment and outsourcing. Associated with Work Service since 2003, she is also president of the Work Service Foundation and since 2017 has been the president of the management board of the Employment Agencies Association, the largest Polish organisation specializing in delivering HR.
