Enrique Sanchez serves as the regional head of Adecco Iberia & South America, a position he has held since October 2009. Sanchez joined Adecco Spain in 1993 as branch manager. In 1995, he became regional manager of the Central Region. Two years later, he was appointed operations manager, and in 2001 president and general manager of Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, Sanchez was general manager for Spain and Portugal, and was also responsible for the development of the company in Latin America and Eastern Europe. In 2005, he returned to Spain, becoming responsible for Adecco Group Iberia.

Juan Urdiales started his first company, Pluscuamperfecta, during his last year of university in 2005 and sold it three years later. In 2009, he and Felipe Navío co-founded Madrid based Jobandtalent, an on-demand contingent staffing platform. Under his co-leadership, Jobandtalent secured €100 million from the SoftBank Vision Fund 2 to promote expansion into new markets, notably the United States. Jobandtalent also operates in Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The company has also expanded to new markets and announced three strategic acquisitions this year. In 2021, Jobandtalent placed more than 200,000 people in jobs and is on track to double this figure in 2022 while continuing to add benefits to workers to its platform.

As president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, Andreu Cruañas represents Spain in the World Employment Confederation. He is a board member of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain as well as the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises. He is also a general council member of the Spanish National Employment System and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. Cruañas was also the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government. In 2017, Cruañas teamed up with Eurosocial, a collaboration between the EU and Latin America that focuses on good practices in employment, to improve the quality of employment, especially among youth.

Andreu Cruañas is president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, whose member firms account for 21% of the temporary contracts in the country with 780,000 unique candidates and a turnover of €5.5 billion. The association participates on the board of the Business Confederation of Spain and partnered with the World Employment Confederation to present the Ibero-American Strategic Dialogue. This presentation involved analysing the labour market and exchanging experiences and good practices, while looking for synergies that help to develop social innovation as a key factor for the future of employment. Cruañas’ proudest accomplishment was Asempleo’s development and approval of a new Code of Ethics and Good Practices for the sector.
