As president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, Andreu Cruañas represents Spain in the World Employment Confederation. In 2018, Asempleo reached the first agreement in Europe with the most-represented Spanish unions. The organisation also approved a code of good practices for employment agencies. Cruañas consults on public affairs and regulation and in the public sector as secretary of labour affairs of the Catalan government and Director General of Employment and the Public Employment Service. Cruañas is also vice president and general council of the National Employment System (Ministry of Labour) and a member of the executive commission of the Public Employment Service of the State and of the National Vocational Training Council.
