Maria Raffaella Caprioglio, president of Umana SpA since 2012, is responsible for Umana’s efforts in marketing, branding and corporate communications. Caprioglio joined Umana in 1998 — when the staffing industry was starting to take shape in Italy — and helped make it possible for a small company to become a main player in the sector in Italy. With 2019 total turnover of €720 million, Umana is now the fifth-largest staffing firm in Italy and one of the few funded entirely with Italian capital. Caprioglio is a member of the national General Council of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) and sits on the board of many local industrial associations throughout the country.
