Jan Arie van Barneveld has been CEO of Brunel International since 2000, succeeding Jan Brand, who held the position since founding the company in 1975. Van Barneveld started his career as a senior manager at Coopers & Lybrand, which merged with Price Waterhouse in 1998 to form PwC. He then held successive management positions at companies in Belgium and the Netherlands. His most recent position before moving to Brunel International was director of Avero Life & Mortgages, which is part of the Achmea Insurance Group.

Jurriën Koops was appointed director of the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies (ABU) in 2014, having joined the organisation in 2002. In addition to his work with ABU, Koops is also chairman of the Foundation for Training and Development in the Flexible Staffing Industry (STOOF) and in December 2015 joined the board of Eurociett. Prior to joining ABU, Koops worked as a policy advisor for trade union CNV, which represents the interests of workers in construction, the industrial sector, transportation, food, and services. He was also a senior consultant for business development for Dutch staffing firm Start People, a USG People company.

Jacques van den Broek joined Randstad as a branch manager in 1988. Prior to joining Randstad, he held various positions at Vendex KBB. After appointments as regional director in the Netherlands and, subsequently, marketing director Europe, van den Broek joined the executive board in 2004, and was appointed CEO in 2014. He is responsible for Germany, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. In addition, he is responsible for the group’s IT, business concept development, HR, marketing and communications, and public affairs. Van den Broek studied law at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

Previously, Zandbergen was CEO and CFO of the publicly listed USG People. Active in the staffing sector since early 2003, Zandbergen has held various international and national executive and supervisory positions at publicly listed companies. Under his leadership, the staffing business of Recruit and the activities of USG People were successfully combined in a global business unit as part of the Recruit group network.

Zandbergen was CFO of Belgian staffing group Solvus between 2003 and 2005, when the company was acquired by USG People. In addition to his work at USG People, Zandbergen is a member of the supervisory board of the Dutch Flower Group and was appointed to the supervisory board of Dutch energy company Eneco Holding in March 2015.

Zandbergen’s team trained and hired many thousands of certified employees for testing and vaccination sites. Annemarie Muntz is president of the World Employment Confederation, the voice of the employment industry at the global level. In 2018, she co-chaired the B20 Employment & Education Taskforce where she was a prominent voice in discussions concerning diverse forms of work in the labour market. She had a key role in driving change in the language used to refer to employment contracts, specifically removing the term “non-standard” within the international institutional employers’ community, which includes the International Organisation of Employers OE and the WEC. She previously chaired WEC-Europe from 2005 to 2018. Muntz is also managing director of global public affairs for Randstad and sits on the board of CSR Europe.

Richard Jager is CEO of Randstad Group Germany. He began his career as a consultant with Randstad Netherlands in 1995 and held various leadership roles including CEO of Randstad company Talisman Software. In 2011, Jager was promoted to CEO of Randstad Switzerland and in 2015 became CEO of both Randstad Switzerland and Austria, a position he held until December 2015. Jager became CEO of Randstad Group Germany in September 2017. In addition to his roles in Randstad, Jager has served on the advisory boards for Randstad, Wittenborg University and Nyenrode Business University in Amsterdam.
