Since 2007, Even Hagelien has been director, staffing industry, for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade and has represented Norway at the World Employment Confederation. In 2011, he co-founded the Nordic Network for staffing federations. He is a member of the global board of the WEC and since 2015 has chaired the WEC Economic Affairs Committee. Last year, Hagelien and his Norwegian team launched a campaign to highlight the role of the staffing industry and build an ambassador program to meet politicians, both at national and local levels.

Even Hagelien has been director, staffing industry, for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade, or NHO, since 2007. In that time, he has also represented Norway at the private employment industries, international bodies’ Ciett and later at the World Employment Confederation when it rebranded from Ciett. In 2011, Hagelien co-founded the Nordic Network, where Nordic staffing federations discuss common matters. In 2015, he became chair of the Eurociett Research Committee and later the WEC Economic Affairs Committee. In 2019, he was elected as a member of the global board of the World Employment Confederation.
Maalfrid Brath is managing director for ManpowerGroup in Norway, the largest staffing company in the Norwegian market representing 20% of the total sales revenue. She first joined ManpowerGroup in 2009. Prior to that, she spent 15 years with Storebrand in Norway serving in various leadership roles, most recently as executive vice president. Brath is chair of the board of directors at the Norwegian staffing and recruitment federation as well as vice chair of the Executive Committee of World Employment Confederation Europe. Throughout her career, she has held positions in various boards including as chairman of the board at NHO National Federation of Service Industries and Trade, a position she’s held since 2016.
