Andreu Cruañas became president of ASEMPLEO, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, in 2013. Cruañas represents ASEMPLEO in Eurociett and CIETT. He is on the executive committee of Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE) and has been a board member of CEOE and the SpanishConfederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CEPYME) since 2013. Cruañas is also a member of the General Council of the Spanish Employment System (Ministry of Employment and Social Security) and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. In his career, Cruañas has alternated between roles in the public and private sector and was formerly the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government.

Martin Alonso was appointed regional head of Northern Europe in August 2011. Alonso joined Adecco Spain in 1993 as branch manager. In 1998, after having held various operational positions, he was appointed as the finance manager for Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, he was the regional finance manager for Adecco Central Europe. As of 2007, he also took on the role of operational manager for Adecco Portugal. From 2009 to July 2011 he held the position of finance manager for Iberia and South America.

Enrique Sanchez is The Adecco Group’s regional head of Iberia, Italy, Eastern Europe and Middle East and North Africa, to which he was appointed in 2019; he has been a member of Adecco’s executive committee since 2009. Sanchez joined The Adecco Group Spain in 1993 as a sales representative and expanded his responsibilities over the next few years. In 2001, he became president and general manager of Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, Sanchez was general manager for Spain and Portugal, and led the development of the company in Latin America and Eastern Europe. In 2005, he assumed responsibility for Adecco Group Iberia.

As president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, Andreu Cruañas represents Spain in the World Employment Confederation. He is a board member of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain as well as the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises. He is also a general council member of the Spanish National Employment System and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. Cruañas was also the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government. In 2017, Cruañas teamed up with Eurosocial, a collaboration between the EU and Latin America that focuses on good practices in employment, to improve the quality of employment, especially among youth.

Andreu Cruañas is president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, whose member firms account for 21% of the temporary contracts in the country with 780,000 unique candidates and a turnover of €5.5 billion. The association participates on the board of the Business Confederation of Spain and partnered with the World Employment Confederation to present the Ibero-American Strategic Dialogue. This presentation involved analysing the labour market and exchanging experiences and good practices, while looking for synergies that help to develop social innovation as a key factor for the future of employment. Cruañas’ proudest accomplishment was Asempleo’s development and approval of a new Code of Ethics and Good Practices for the sector.

In 1995, he became regional manager of the Central Region. Two years later, he was appointed operations manager, and in 2001 president and general manager of Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, Sanchez was general manager for Spain and Portugal, and was also responsible for the development of the company in Latin America and Eastern Europe. In 2005, he returned to Spain, becoming responsible for Adecco Group Iberia.

No stranger to tech startups, Felipe Navío was advisor and founder of ticket marketplace ticketbis in 2007 and strategy consultant in 2008 for Tuenti as it pivoted from being the “Spanish Facebook” to its present iteration as a cloud-based telephony service. In 2009, he joined with Juan Urdiales to co-found on-demand staffing platform Jobandtalent in 2009. Under Navío’s co-leadership, Madrid-based Jobandtalent secured €100 million from the SoftBank Vision Fund 2 to promote expansion into new markets. Jobandtalent serves Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and, as of this year, the United States.

The association aims to develop and expand the temporary work industry in Spain and to promote rigorous compliance control with legislation and good practice. Cruañas has also been an executive committee member of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) since 2013. Cruañas became a governing body member of the World Employment Confederation in June 2020.
