Regarded as a catalyst for change in recruitment, King introduced the accredited Certificate in Recruitment Practice — the sole degree in the world for recruiters. She is an executive board member at the World Employment Confederation and has been featured on SIA’s Staffing 100 and Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing lists.

In 1996, Heraty’s husband, Paul Carrol, joined the group and in 1999 they took CPL to the Irish and London stock markets, making Heraty the firstfemale CEO of an Irish company floatedon the stock exchange. He leads the team that lobbies the government on employment legislation, recruitment matters and GDPR, and was instrumental in helping the Federation secure an Apprenticeship in Recruitment practice on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications in 2018. Farrelly has been a nonexecutive director for The People Group. In 2018, Sigmar Recruitment formed a strategic partnership with Groupe Adéquat, one of the 50 largest global staffing firms in the world, according to SIA. A graduate of UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, he currently sits on the external interview panel for the MBA programme at Dublin City University.

Frank Farrelly is COO and co-founder at Sigmar Recruitment, leading a team of more than 120 recruitment professionals nationwide. Over the last seven years, Farrelly has been a committee member, treasurer, VP and secretary for the National Recruitment Federation in Ireland and was elected NRF president in 2016. He was part of the NRF team that lobbied the government on the Agency Workers Act, Zero Hours Contracts and ‘If & When’ contracts. Farrelly recently led NRF’s efforts that secured the hosting of the 2018 World Employment Conference in Ireland.

Farrelly was nonexecutive director for The People Group from 2005 to 2009; he currently sits on the external interview panel for the MBA programme at Dublin City University and has delivered courses for The Ryan Academy and The Smurfit Business School.
