As general manager of Assolavoro, Agostino Di Maio leads Italy’s national association of employment agencies. In 2020, Assolovoro, along with associations from Belgium, India and Ireland, received special recognition by the World Employment Confederation for “actions at various levels taken to support the income, employability and working conditions of workers administered during the Covid-19 crisis.” Assolavoro’s member employment agencies comprise more than 2,500 branches throughout Italy and produce over 85% of the total turnover related to the administration of work.
