Neil Carberry is chief executive of the REC, the professional body for recruitment and staffing in the UK. Alongside providing members with representation, professional training and legal advice, Carberry has pushed a more commercial agenda for REC, aimed at better and more accessible business advice, delivered online and in a new regional structure. This has resulted in the REC’s highest-ever member renewal rate in 2022. Carberry is a board member of the World Employment Confederation and of the Council of Acas, the UK labour relations and strike conciliation body.
