Frits Goldschmeding founded Uitzendbureau Amstelveen in 1960, and in 1964 renamed it Randstad. Goldschmeding took Randstad public in 1990, and in 2008, merged it with the Dutch group Vedior. He was CEO until 1999 and a member of the supervisory board until 2011 but remains the largest shareholder. Goldschmeding has a doctorate from the VU University Amsterdam and is also a professor at the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Nyenrode Business University.

After working in recruitment for Accountancy Selection Ltd. and Badenoch & Clark Ltd., Giles Daubeney joined Robert Walters plc in 1988. From 1990 to 1994 he was based in Amsterdam and was responsible for the group’s Dutch and Belgian operations. Daubeney was appointed to the role of chief operating officer in 1999, and was appointed to the board of Robert Walters plc in July 2000. In January 2016, Daubeney was appointed deputy CEO.

As SVP, EMEA markets and operations, Manuel Roger is responsible for Beeline’s operations in Europe. He joined Adecco Group in 1998 as an international IT project manager, where he was responsible for front-office solutions, online testing, and e-commerce platforms. In 2002, Roger became an IT international procurement manager for Adecco Group. In 2014, he became Adecco Group global procurement director and successfully developed Adecco Group’s global procurement department. Roger served as Adecco Group’s LATAM zone finance director from 2009 to 2011. He then became SVP international product management at Beeline to expand Beeline’s product and service offerings outside of North America.

James Reed is chairman of the Reed Global group of companies, which was founded by Reed’s father, Sir Alec Reed, in 1960. The company has 2,931 permanent employees working across 456 business units in 134 locations worldwide. Reed is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and was formerly an associate of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit and a member of the Institute for Public Policy Research’s business-led taskforce on race equality and diversity in the private sector. Reed is coauthor of the award-winning and best-selling book Put Your Mindset to Work.

Oliver Watson is an executive board director for the PageGroup. He is responsible for all Michael Page, Page Executive and Page Personnel operations in the UK, US, Canada, Middle East and South Africa. Prior to this, he was regional managing director for Michael Page UK. Watson joined the company as a consultant in London in 1995.

Gary Elden has been CEO of SThree since January 2013 after serving as its deputy CEO since May 2012. Before that, Elden was SThree’s chief strategy officer. He has held a number of senior positions, including that of founding managing director of Huxley Associates. Tig Gilliam was appointed CEO of NES Global Talent, a specialist provider of engineering talent solutions, in 2014. He joined the board of directors in 2013. Before NES Global Talent, Gilliam was operating partner for AEA Investors LP, a private equity firm. From 2007 to 2012, he was regional head and executive committee member of Adecco Group North America. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at PwC Consulting and IBM Global Business Services, leading the global supply chain management practice. Gilliam is chairman of NY-based Work Market Inc., the freelance management system used by businesses to manage their independent contractors.

At the end of 2015, Federico Vione was appointed chief sales and innovation officer for Adecco. He originally joined Adecco in 1998 as a temp. In 2001 he became country manager of Ajilon Italy and then Switzerland in 2003. In 2005, Vione was appointed project leader, global account management, and subsequently head of Eastern Europe & Russia. In 2008, he was appointed country manager of Adecco Italy and in 2009 regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & MENA. In 2011, he assumed responsibility of India & North Africa. Vione has been president and then VP of Assolavoro (Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies) till 2015.
