An economics graduate from Cambridge University, James Hilton joined Hays plc in 2008 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming group finance director in October 2022. His background in M&A advisory, corporate broking, and as a chartered accountant with KPMG has served Hays well, as Hilton has held a number of senior finance roles prior to his current role including head of investor relations, UK financial controller, European finance director and group financial controller. Hilton also serves on the Hays plc executive board and is focused on executing the company’s strategic vision for growth.
