Frank Farrelly is COO and co-founder of Sigmar Recruitment; he oversees 140 recruitment professionals across 14 specialist teams. Since the company’s management buy-out in 2009, he helped grow the company fivefold. In 2018, the company launched Sigmar IT International and formed a strategic partnership with French staffing firm Groupe Adéquat. Farrelly was instrumental in bringing the 2018 World Employment Confederation to Dublin, in addition to hosting the event. Farrelly also is president of the National Recruitment Federation’s executive committee, where he represents the Irish recruitment industry with government and state bodies at international conferences and think tanks.

Michael Krottmayer serves as CFO of Trenkwalder and is also a member of the management board and the board of directors. In addition, he is in charge of the countries in southeastern Europe. Krottmayer had numerous CFO roles before joining Trenkwalder, most recently at the Internet Security firm emarsys eMarketing Systems and prior to that, at ISS Austria, the facilities services company. Krottmayer is bilingual and has a higher degree in business administration from Karl-Franzens-University Graz.

James Saoulli is CEO of Rullion, a role he took in 2017. Over the past two years he has overseen the transformation of Rullion, which has included launching several programmes to modernise and help to enable continued business growth. Saoulli has previously held leadership roles in Rullion Management Services and Rullion Solutions, a managed service and technology arm that he helped launch. Prior to his current role as CEO, Saoulli was group board director of the company where he coordinated strategy, sales and marketing. In 2018, the company launched a new specialist Talent Consultancy division. Rullion ranked fourth on SIA’s list of the largest engineering staffing firms in the UK.

Frank Farrelly is COO and co-founder of Sigmar Recruitment and has served as president of the National Recruitment Federation’s executive committee since 2016. He leads the team that lobbies the government on employment legislation, recruitment matters and GDPR, and was instrumental in helping the Federation secure an Apprenticeship in Recruitment practice on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications in 2018. Farrelly has been a nonexecutive director for The People Group. In 2018, Sigmar Recruitment formed a strategic partnership with Groupe Adéquat, one of the 50 largest global staffing firms in the world, according to SIA. A graduate of UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, he currently sits on the external interview panel for the MBA programme at Dublin City University.

Chris Heutink started his career at Randstad as a consultant in the Netherlands in 1991. He would go on to hold various management positions and in 2004 he was promoted to managing director of Randstad Poland. After moving back to the Netherlands in 2007, he became director of operations. In 2009, he was appointed managing director of Randstad Netherlands. Heutink is responsible for all operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe (Poland, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary), as well as for global client solutions. He was appointed to the executive board in 2014.

Étienne Colella is CEO of PIXID, a VMS provider headquartered in France, which he founded in 2004. The firm offers an SAAS application compliant with the French regulation for providing and using temporary staff. In 2015, private equity fund Keensight Capital took a majority stake in the company to help it become a leading VMS in the European market. PIXID bought Internet Corp. in January 2017 to start deploying its services to the UK market. Previously, Colella spent 14 years in the IT industry in various senior positions. Colella graduated from ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Patrick Tiessen is co-founder and CEO of VMS provider Nétive. Founded in 2003, with offices in Rijswijk, the Netherlands and in London, Nétive started with two customers and has grown to more than 200 customers across Europe. The privately funded company focuses on creating the best possible cloud software to manage contingent workforces and recruit permanent staff within one single solution. Before Nétive, Tiessen held senior roles at The Next Flex and HR Puzzle; he also was an international IT manager at Kelly Services for eight years. In recent years, Nétive’s focus has been on international expansion.

An experienced entrepreneur who has founded five startups, Teppo Paavola joined The Adecco Group as chief digital officer in January 2019; he is also a member of the executive committee. Prior to joining The Adecco Group, he was the chief development officer of Spanish multinational bank BBVA Group. Paavola was previously vice president, head of global business development, M&A and developer relations at PayPal. He is a board member of 3 Step IT and previously served on the boards of Simple Finance, Atom Bank and Propel Venture Partners.

Mark Dorman became CEO of global STEM recruitment company SThree plc in March 2019. He joined SThree from McGraw Hill Education, where, as president of higher education, international and professional for five years, he increased the market share of the business and improved profitability. Prior to joining McGraw Hill, he was VP of Wolters Kluwer’s legal markets group and then CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business. He also spent three years in the British Army’s Corps of Royal Military Police, before going on to hold senior roles at LexisNexis UK, where he was head of strategy, and Gartner Inc., where he was head of global product management.

Alain Dehaze was recently named CEO of Adecco. He joined the Adecco Group in 2009 as regional head of Northern Europe and was appointed regional head of France in 2011. From September 2007 until joining Adecco, he was CEO of the Humares. From 2002 to 2005, he was CEO of Solvus, becoming COO of USG People upon USG’s acquisition of Solvus 2005. From 1987 until 2000, Dehaze held a number of senior positions at Henkel and ISS. In 2000, he became managing director of Creyf’s Interim in Belgium (now Start People). Dehaze is VP of the board of the Eurociett, the European Confederation of Private Employment Agencies, and is also on the board of the Ciett, the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies.
