Forbes is a board member of the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative and is on the leadership team of Ambitious about Autism.

Since 2007, Even Hagelien has served as director of staffing industry for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade (NHO SH). He also sits on the global board of the World Employment Confederation. In his tenure, Hagelien has co-founded the Nordic Network for staffing federations in 2011 and chaired the WEC Economic Affairs Committee from 2015-2022. He was re-elected to the WEC board for three more years in 2022. Further, Hagelien recently created an ambassador programme to meet politicians at national and local levels to advocate for the staffing industry.

Mark Maesen is CEO of Belgium-based Actief Group, a €600 million staffing company active in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. Maesen in 2020 became CEO of Actief Interim, the group’s brand in Belgium, bringing leadership experience as former CEO of Sara Lee. In 2015, he became CEO of Actief Group. The company has continued to expand and make acquisitions and now employs more than 20,000 temporary workers on a daily basis. Maesen is also closely involved with the Private Art Support Foundation, which collects, preserves and discloses works of art by Belgian artists.

She joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and has fulfilled various management positions, including deputy manager and general manager. ADG Group acquired staffing firm In Person last year, which also came under her supervision.
