Kevin Freeguard has been CEO and board member of UK-based Gattaca plc since 2018. His senior leadership experience within technology businesses such as Siemens, Motorola, De La Rue and Verifone has given him first-hand knowledge of the challenges global organisations face in securing the skills they need to succeed. The company continues to focus on its growth plans, focusing on STEM skills across the many sectors that it supports. Matthew Rodger, Alexander Mann Solutions’ chief growth and commercial officer since 2017, has been with the London-based RPO and MSP provider for nearly 20 years. Rodger wears many hats, including overseeing the commercialisation of AMS’ products and services, new logo development and significant business development of existing customers, as well as managing all corporate mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, he led AMS to the successful acquisition of Karen AI, its first foray into proprietary direct-to-market technology now called Hourly. Known as a creative solution provider, Rodger has been recognized by august organisations for his contributions to the industry.

In 2020, National Recruitment Federation CEO Geraldine King successfully launched the world’s first undergraduate three-year degree apprenticeship program for recruiters in partnership with the National College of Ireland and a campaign to “Keep Ireland Working,” connecting agencies to candidates who lost jobs during the pandemic. As the head of an organisation that establishes and maintains standards and codes of practice for the recruitment industry in Ireland, King has focused on expanding its services and has introduced the accredited Certificate in Recruitment Practice — the only certificate for recruiters in Ireland. She joined the federation in 2009.

As a result of Rika Coppens’ leadership, the House of HR sustained its pre-Covid profitability at 11% EBITDA/sales and entered summer 2021 with its best June ever. Sylvestre Blavet is chairman and CEO of French online staffing group Freelance.com, a role he was appointed to in 2019. He is also chairman of Paris-based CBV Ingénierie Group, the largest shareholder of Freelance.com. In June 2020, the CBV Ingénierie Group acquired INOP’S, a Paris based IT services firm with a complementary business model to Freelance.com: helping SMEs and startups with a strong expertise in IT to work more efficiently with large enterprises. The new group, created and led by Blavet, is now a French market leader with €375.4 million in revenue in 2020.

Francesco Baroni was named country manager of Gi Group Italy in 2019. In addition to coordinating the activities of Gi Group’s various brands, he leads the strategic development of an integrated value proposition to meet the increasingly complex needs of companies and candidates. He joined Gi Group in 2014 as a business innovation and technology management senior executive. Baroni previously worked for consulting firms and public institutions, including IBM and the Regione Lombardia Government. Gi Group ranks among the world’s largest staffing providers, operating directly in 31 countries with a partner network in 58 additional countries.

As managing director EMEA and ANZ for Hays, the sixth-largest staffing firm in the world with global revenue of €6.5 billion, Nigel Heap is responsible for 14 of the 33 countries in the organisation. In 2012, Heap was appointed UK & Ireland managing director, and in 2017 he was appointed managing director of a further 12 countries in the EMEA region. Over the following 15 years, as managing director of Hays in Australia, he oversaw a tenfold increase in revenue and expanded into New Zealand. He was further appointed managing director of APAC in 2005, leading Hays’ expansion into Asia.

Deputy counselor of Randstad Group Italia and president of Intempo, a division of Randstad serving the port and logistics sector, Alessandro Ramazza also serves as director of Randstad Research Italy and president of Assolavoro, the national association of staffing firms in Italy. He was president of Italy-based staffing firm Obiettivo Lavoro Group when Randstad acquired it in 2016. Ramazza has previously held leadership roles as HR director of large companies and covered public administration and political management positions.

As co-founder and CEO, Tiessen continues to expand the company by opening offices in Rijswijk, the Netherlands and London. He has held key positions at The Next Flex and HR Puzzle and also worked at Kelly as an international IT manager. Passionate about entrepreneurship, Tiessen believes in maintaining transparency and focuses on making software to support all facets of recruiting, selecting, contracting and managing permanent and temporary employees. Nétive was featured in the Best Small Workplaces 2020 list in the Netherlands.
