Ingrid Hofmann embarked on her staffing career in 1976 and, after encountering challenges women faced in management roles, in 1985 founded I.K. Hofmann GmbH, where she serves as CEO. Her commitment to an inclusive culture of learning has earned the firm the Great Place to Work award annually since 2008. In 2022 Hofmann received the Citizen Medal from the city of Nuremberg honoring her lifetime achievements. In addition to leading the I.K. Hofmann Group, Hofmann serves as VP of Federal Employers Association of Personnel Services and is a board member of the Federal Employment Agency in Germany.
