Patrick Tiessen is founder and CEO of Nétive VMS, the largest VMS provider based on Salesforce.com in the Benelux. Founded in 2003, Nétive started with two customers and has grown to more than 200 customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Finland and the UK. Nétive focuses on creating the best possible cloud software to manage contingent workforces and recruit permanent staff within one single solution. Before Nétive, Tiessen worked as international IT manager at Kelly Services for eight years. In 2010, Nétive acquired Brightbox HR, the first freelancer management system in Europe, and in 2012 it acquired a VMS solution for SAP customers.

President

Volker Enkerts is the president of the Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers, also known as BAP. In 1992, Enkerts was elected as a board member of the German Association of Private Employment, also known as the BZA, and progressed to the president role in 2004. The BZA and the Employers’ Association of Medium-Sized Personnel Services merged to form BAP, of which he was elected president. Enkerts is also a board member of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations. Furthermore, Enkerts is chairman of the statutory accident insurance institution, VBG, and runs Hamburg-based FLEX-TIME GmbH as owner and managing director.

Green is a leader focused on driving digital transformation and growth with disciplined execution. He previously served as president of ManpowerGroup’s North America and APME operations. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Green speaks fluent Japanese and is a director of the Japan Staffing Service Association.

Andrew Preston joined de Poel healthcare in 2013 as managing director and was responsible for a period of significant growth, which led to his appointment in 2015 as group managing director. Following a September 2016 management buyout, which he led, Preston became CEO and is currently delivering record revenue and double-digit EBITDA growth for the UKbased firm. Preston has worked in healthcare and the wider public sector for almost 20 years after starting his career in the National Health Service. An experienced business leader with a global health background — including the sale of his own clinical service business to global service provider Serco Group plc — Preston has experience in growth and development of FTSE 100 companies, PLCs, private equity-backed and private organisations.

Jean-Philippe Papin is founder and CEO of the French staffing firm Leader Intérim. The company was founded in 1992 and claims average annual growth of 20% since its inception. Leader Intérim is among the top 10 staffing firms in France, providing temporary workers, permanent recruitment services and training. The company entered the Swiss market in 2014 with the acquisition of Max Studer Intérim. In 2016, Leader Interim counted more than 110 branch locations across France, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.

Stefano Scabbio was appointed president of Northern Europe, Mediterranean and Eastern Europe for ManpowerGroup in June 2017, expanding his responsibilities to include Northern Europe. Stefano also leads European sales and marketing. Scabbio joined ManpowerGroup in 2003 as financial director of Italy. He was appointed managing director of ManpowerGroup Italy in 2006 and was named president in 2007. In 2008, Scabbio became a member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa strategic executive team, and in 2010, with the newly created Southern Europe region, his role expanded to regional managing director of Italy and Iberia. In February 2015, he was appointed president of Mediterranean and Eastern Europe. In 2014, Scabbio also became president of Assolavoro, the Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies. He is the VP of Bocconi University Alumni Association and is a current director of Junior Achievement Italy.

Alain Dehaze became CEO of Adecco in 2015. He joined the Adecco Group in 2009 as regional head of Northern Europe and was appointed regional head of France in 2011. Between 2002 and 2009, Dehaze held executive roles at Humares, USG People and Solvus. Prior to 2002, he held a number of leadership positions at Creyf’s Interim in Belgium (now Start People), Henkel and ISS.

Since January 2016, Dehaze has been chair of the Global Apprenticeship Network. He was VP of the European Confederation of Private Employment Agencies, now the World Employment Confederation Europe, and a board member of Ciett, now the World Employment Confederation, between December 2010 and December 2015.

Daniel Augereau is chairman and CEO of Synergie, the sixth-largest staffing firm in France. He trained as a technical blue-collar worker in the aeronautic industry and soon after founded his first staffing firm, Europe Technique Assistance, in 1969. Ten years later, the company merged with another staffing firm, Sidergie, resulting in the launch of the Synergie brand. In 2016, the company reported a double-digit revenue growth rate, spurred by strong performances both in its home market and abroad.

Kevin Barrow is a partner with law firm Osborne Clarke. Since 1990, he has advised staffing companies on all types of legal work including commercial deals, international joint ventures and M&A. His multicountry team works for more than 100 hirers and suppliers on market-leading UK, EU and international flexible workforce — MSP, RPO and VMS — projects, regulation of digital recruitment and online exchanges, tax planning relating to flexible workforces and worker misclassification and coemployment class actions. Barrow has led a campaign to change the regulatory regime affecting online exchanges, and in the last three years has rolled out staffing/MSP deals in 40 countries.

Since 2012, Kate Donovan has been ManpowerGroup’s global RPO president. In 2014, she was also named senior VP of ManpowerGroup Solutions and TAPFIN. Both companies offer clients global workforce solutions. ManpowerGroup Solutions delivers talent-driven solutions that capitalise on new thinking and new workforce models. Leveraging an in-depth understanding of global workforce trends, Donovan has also developed the workforce solutions expertise in the group to deliver strategies that are aligned with clients’ business strategies as part of the strategic consulting group. More recently, Donovan is spearheading ManpowerGroup’s total talent management offering.
