Enrique Sanchez has been The Adecco Group’s regional head of Iberia and Latin America and a member of its executive committee since October 2009. Sanchez joined The Adecco Group Spain in 1993 as branch manager. In 1995, he became regional manager of the Central Region. Two years later, he was appointed operations manager, and in 2001 president and general manager of Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, Sanchez was general manager for Spain and Portugal, and was also responsible for the development of the company in Latin America and Eastern Europe. In 2005, he returned to Spain, assuming responsibility for Adecco Group Iberia.

Geraldine King joined the National Recruitment Federation in 2009 and as its chief executive is responsible for running the NRF office and all divisions of the Federation. King led the lobbying effort that resulted in the awarding of the first apprenticeship programme for recruiters on the national academic framework, in partnership with the National College of Ireland. She is also a member of the MBA panel of interviewers for Dublin City University and a recent board member of the Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, King was a guest speaker at the World Employment Confederation. Prior to joining NRF, she worked at Grafton Recruitment as a branch manager.

As chairman and CEO, Jonas Prising leads all aspects of ManpowerGroup’s US$21 billion business across 80 countries and territories. Prising was president from 2012 to 2014, leading the company’s operations in the Americas and Southern Europe. A recognised expert on the labour market, the impact of digitisation on skills and future world of work trends, Prising regularly speaks at conferences and summits around the world. He is actively engaged in the World Economic Forum, including as a steward of the future of education, gender and work global system; co-chair of the Regional Business Council of Europe; and CEO champion of the Digital Transformation Initiative. He received the Albert E. Suter Award for Exceptional Leadership in 2014.

President

As president of Asempleo, the association of private employment agencies in Spain, Andreu Cruañas represents Spain in the World Employment Confederation. He is a board member of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain as well as the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises. He is also a general council member of the Spanish National Employment System and the Central Executive Committee of the Public Employment Service of Spain. Cruañas was also the Secretary of Labour and Employment and Director General of Employment of the Catalan Government. In 2017, Cruañas teamed up with Eurosocial, a collaboration between the EU and Latin America that focuses on good practices in employment, to improve the quality of employment, especially among youth.

Richard Jager is CEO of Randstad Group Germany. He began his career as a consultant with Randstad Netherlands in 1995 and held various leadership roles including CEO of Randstad company Talisman Software. In 2011, Jager was promoted to CEO of Randstad Switzerland and in 2015 became CEO of both Randstad Switzerland and Austria, a position he held until December 2015. Jager became CEO of Randstad Group Germany in September 2017. In addition to his roles in Randstad, Jager has served on the advisory boards for Randstad, Wittenborg University and Nyenrode Business University in Amsterdam.

Rosario Rasizza, CEO of Openjobmetis, started his career in 1997 when he opened Temporary S.p.A. of Milan in Varese. In 2001, he guided the launch of a new employment agency and contributed toward the creation of Openjob S.p.A. Between 2003 and 2011, he guided Openjob through a series of acquisitions. In 2008, he was appointed Knight of the Italian Republic as well as chairman of the Italian Association of Employment Agencies. In 2015, CRIBIS D&B awarded Rating 1 to Openjobmetis, recognising the company at the highest level of economic and financial reliability — and in 2017, it further upgraded its rating to a CRIBIS Prime Company. In 2017, the group reported revenue of €583.9 million.

Ingrid Hofmann is CEO of I.K. Hofmann (also known as Hofmann Personal). Founded in 1985 in Nuremberg, Germany, I.K. Hofmann is one of the largest staffing agencies in Europe and one of the five largest staffing firms in Germany. Hofmann is a board member of the Federal Employment Agency and is an active member of the Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers and the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations. I.K. Hofmann earned the highest award for business excellence in Germany, the Ludwig Erhard Prize, in 2010; it also holds the Great Place to Work Platin Trust Champion Award, and has been honoured 10 times in a row by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Didier Bench, executive chairman of Lumesse, has more than 25 years’ experience in the leadership and development of international technology firms, digital companies and investment funds. He has held senior management positions with a series of software companies, successfully turning them into profitable and major players. Bench has also supported investment decisions for a number of major private equity and investment funds. In addition to HgCapital, he has been a senior advisor for SilverLake Sumeru and a senior partner for CDP Technology Ventures, a Canadian private equity fund that is part of Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec operating in the North American and European markets. He is also nonexecutive chairman of EidosMedia.

In 2007, Agostino Di Maio became general manager of Assolavoro, the National Association of Staffing Agencies, in Italy. Founded in October 2006 from the merger of the three pre-existing representative agencies, Assolavoro represents the employment agencies that produce about 85% of the total turnover linked to the administration of work and count more than 2,500 branches throughout Italy. Prior to Assolavoro, Di Maio was director of human resources for Alitalia Compagnia Aerea Italiana SpA, a company that provides air transportation services to passengers in Italy and internationally. In 2016, Di Maio contributed to the book Vent’anni e un giorno di riforme del lavoro (20 years and one day of labour reforms).

Albert Ellis is the CEO of Harvey Nash Group, a London-based IT staffing and services firm. Originally appointed CFO in 2000, he became CEO in 2005. The company has since expanded its footprint globally with revenue of £784.3 million. Under his leadership, Harvey Nash became the first recruitment consultancy in the world to gain accreditation under Ernst and Young’s National Equality Standard, and its pioneering work in establishing diversity networks in four continents has been recognised by the UK government. Before Harvey Nash, Ellis worked in the accounting and auditing profession after qualifying as a chartered accountant. He is also a foundation member of Cambridge University’s Rustat Conference, a non-executive director at Asia House and external advisor to London City University’s Cass Business School’s Information Leadership Network.
