Alessandro Ramazza wears many hats. He is president of Assolavoro, the Italian National Association for Employment Agencies. He is also deputy counselor of Randstad Group Italia; director of Randstad Research, which provides insights into the future market trends and employment issues; and president of Intempo, a staffing agency in the logistic and port sectors. From 2005 to 2017, Ramazza was president of Obiettivo Lavoro Group — this includes Italian staffing firm Obiettivo Lavoro, which was acquired by Randstad in 2016. He previously held leadership roles as HR director of large companies and covered public administration and political management positions.

She joined the board of directors of House of HR in May 2016 and until the beginning of 2017 was active as CEO of EFR Group, a retailer that operates fuel stations and convenience stores in France and the Benelux countries. With turnover of €1.8 billion, House of HR is one of the largest European staffing and recruitment companies. It originated from Accent Jobs and is the holding company for nine operational companies representing 38 brands, all active in specialised staffing, engineering and consulting. The company has a very strong emphasis on digital innovation and entrepreneurship, two things in which Coppens plays a pioneering role.

Assolavoro faced a steep challenge this past year with the government’s introduction of the “Dignity Decree,” which would put tens of thousands of jobs at risk due to contract length and renewal limits. Di Miao and his team, along with trade unions, worked tirelessly to prepare and draft the Collective Labour Agreement to minimise this negative impact. Additionally, they promoted a high-impact advertising campaign to change the overall perception of the industry in Italy.
