Prior to this, he worked for 27 years with Michael Page where he was managing director – continental Europe and the Americas, and a board member. In 2018, Morgan Philips Group acquired Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management activities in Europe (except for the Benelux countries) and launched Morgan Philips Hudson Talent Consulting in the UK, France, Spain and Poland.

Passionate about preparing the future workforce, he is the vice chairman of Junior Achievement Worldwide, former chairman of the board, and a current board member of Junior Achievement USA.

He is responsible for global finance and accounting, business control, M&A, tax, treasury, business risk and audit, investor relations and legal. In 2019, Randstad achieved record-high free cash flow, providing the opportunity to strengthen its balance sheet and reduce its debt position. Together with a cost optimisation program, this improved its incremental conversion ratio resulting in an EBITA of 4.9% in the last quarter. Schirmer is also a member of the board of directors of General American Investors and the non-profit organisation Results for Development.

Carmen Watson, chair and managing director of Pertemps, joined Pertemps in 1976 as a secretary and was later responsible for the corporate business team and growing turnover to £323 million from £32 million between 1983 and 2000. In 2018, Watson was named Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors in West Midland and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the REC IRP Awards in London. She is trustee and chair of the Women in Business patrons’ group, board member of Race for Opportunity charity as well as a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Heutink started his career at Randstad in 1991 as a consultant in the Netherlands; he became managing director of Randstad Netherlands in 2009 and was appointed to the executive board in 2014. Randstad last year reached a record-high free cash flow which strengthened its balance sheet and reduced its debt position.

He has been a member of its executive committee since 2009. Picarelli first joined Adecco in 1993, holding several leadership positions before becoming country manager of Adecco Italy and Switzerland from 2005 to 2009 (Switzerland until the end of 2008). He was the group’s chief sales officer from 2009 to September 2015, when he became regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe and Middle East and North Africa.

Caprioglio joined Umana in 1998 — when the staffing industry was starting to take shape in Italy — and helped make it possible for a small company to become a main player in the sector in Italy. With 2019 total turnover of €720 million, Umana is now the fifth-largest staffing firm in Italy and one of the few funded entirely with Italian capital. Caprioglio is a member of the national General Council of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) and sits on the board of many local industrial associations throughout the country.
