Sergio Picarelli is The Adecco Group’s regional head of North America, UK and Ireland Professional Staffing and is responsible for global oversight of Lee Hecht Harrison, General Assembly, Badenoch+Clark, Spring Professional and Pontoon. He has been a member of its executive committee since 2009. Picarelli first joined Adecco in 1993, holding several leadership positions before becoming country manager of Adecco Italy and Switzerland from 2005 to 2009 (Switzerland until the end of 2008). He was the group’s chief sales officer from 2009 to September 2015, when he became regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe and Middle East and North Africa.

Kevin Freeguard was appointed CEO and a board member of UK-based Gattaca in October 2018. His senior leadership experience within technology businesses such as Siemens, Motorola, De La Rue and Verifone gives him first-hand knowledge of the challenges global organisations face in securing the skills they need to succeed. He recognised Gattaca had the opportunity to solve the critical talent challenges faced in the converging engineering and technology skills arena. Alain Dehaze is CEO of The Adecco Group, a role he has held since September 2015. Adecco ranks No. 2 on SIA’s list of Largest Global Staffing Firms. He became chair of the Global Apprenticeship Network in 2016. He has been a member of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work since 2017. Dehaze is also a steward of the World Economic Forum system initiative on education, gender and work and is co-chair of the Governors for the World Economic Forum’s Professional Services Industry Community. Furthermore, Dehaze was VP of the board of the World Employment Confederation Europe and a WEC board member from 2010 to 2015.

Sylvestre Blavet assumed the role of chairman and CEO of French online staffing group Freelance.com in 2019. He is also chairman of Paris-based CBV Ingénierie Group, the largest shareholder of Freelance.com. Blavet oversaw a 26% increase in Freelancer.com’s 2019 revenue to €237.1 million. In June 2020, the CBV Ingénierie Group acquired INOP’S, a Paris-based IT services firm. Blavet’s career with Groupe CBV Ingénierie involved turning around the company’s fortunes by ceasing its telecommunications activities and developing its technical assistance services. In 2009 and 2010, he developed its umbrella company services by acquiring SAGE and Ad’missions. He had taken over as chief executive of Groupe CBV Ingénierie in 2006.

Yvette Cleland is the CEO of Cpl Life Sciences, a global life science staffing organisation that rebranded from Clinical Professionals in August. Cpl Life Sciences is part of Cpl Resources plc. Over the past year, Cleland developed forums for chief medical officers, VPs and medical affairs clients in the US and EU. From these forums, Cleland develops thought leadership articles to distribute within the life science industry. Some of Cleland’s proudest accomplishments of the previous year include leading her organisation in fully funding and training more than 60 graduates last year, as well as its fundraising efforts for the Marine Conservation Society.

Johnathan Johnson was CEO of Fircroft, one of the world’s leading technical recruitment agencies, until its September 2020 merger with NES Global Talent; Johnson is executive director of the combined company now known as NES Fircroft. Founded by Johnson’s father to serve the North Sea oil and gas industry in 1970, Fircroft serves more than 100 companies across a wide range of specialist technical sectors and ranked fourth on SIA’s 2019 list of the world’s largest engineering staffing firms. The newly combined NES Fircroft would rank as the 26th largest staffing firm globally, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.

Alexander Mann Solutions’ chief growth and commercial officer since 2017, Matthew Rodger has 29 years’ experience in staffing and outsourcing. He has been with the London-based RPO and MSP provider for nearly 20 years. Rodger wears many hats, including overseeing the commercialisation of AMS’ products and services, new logo development, significant business development of existing customers and managing all corporate mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, he led AMS to the successful acquisition of Karen AI, its first foray into proprietary direct-to-market technology now called Hourly.

Alistair Cox is group CEO of global recruitment agency Hays plc, having held that position since 2007. He is a chartered engineer with a degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Salford. He also holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in California, US. Cox began his career at British Aerospace and eventually moved into staffing, having been appointed chief executive at Xansa plc, the IT outsourcing organisation, before joining Hays. He has also served as a non-executive director at 3i Plc and at Just Eat, and is currently chairman of the British and Irish Modern Music Institute.

Charles-Henri Dumon is CEO and co-founder of talent solutions firm Morgan Philips Group. Dumon’s commitment to investing in the latest digital and data-led solutions, and disrupting conventional approaches to talent solutions, led him to launch the firm in 2013. Prior to this, he worked for 27 years with Michael Page where he was managing director – continental Europe and the Americas, and a board member. In 2018, Morgan Philips Group acquired Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management activities in Europe (except for the Benelux countries) and launched Morgan Philips Hudson Talent Consulting in the UK, France, Spain and Poland.
