Notably, he takes pride in Randstad’s support of over 18,000 refugees in 2022 and its target to improve working lives of an additional 50,000 by 2025.

Since 2007, Even Hagelien has served as director of staffing industry for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade (NHO SH). He also sits on the global board of the World Employment Confederation. In his tenure, Hagelien has co-founded the Nordic Network for staffing federations in 2011 and chaired the WEC Economic Affairs Committee from 2015-2022. He was re-elected to the WEC board for three more years in 2022. Further, Hagelien recently created an ambassador programme to meet politicians at national and local levels to advocate for the staffing industry.
