Since 2014, he has served as chief operating officer and a member of the executive board. Notably, he takes pride in Randstad’s support of over 18,000 refugees in 2022 and its target to improve working lives of an additional 50,000 by 2025.

Gianni Quatera is CEO of During S.p.A., a €370 million Italian employment agency with subsidiaries in Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Since 2007, Even Hagelien has served as director of staffing industry for the Norwegian Federation of Service Industries and Retail Trade (NHO SH). He also sits on the global board of the World Employment Confederation. In his tenure, Hagelien has co-founded the Nordic Network for staffing federations in 2011 and chaired the WEC Economic Affairs Committee from 2015-2022. He was re-elected to the WEC board for three more years in 2022. Further, Hagelien recently created an ambassador programme to meet politicians at national and local levels to advocate for the staffing industry.

Chairman and CEO Victorien Vaney has taken big strides to strengthen the position of Synergie globally. With more than 5,000 employees across 17 countries, Synergie recruits thousands of candidates every day and provides training that contributes to their employability. Under Vaney’s leadership, Synergie was awarded first place in Capital Magazine’s Diversity Champion’s list in the employment service category. In 2022, Synergie continued its international development with the acquisition of Interkadra in Poland and Runtime Group in Germany, to strengthen its position in those countries.

For more than 20 years as deputy CEO of France-based Groupe Crit’s management team and president of the temporary employment division, Nathalie Jaoui drove global growth strategy with an emphasis on corporate social responsibility. She was appointed chairman and CEO in 2022. Already a provider with more than 8,000 employees in 12 countries, Jaoui led Groupe Crit to €2.34 billion in 2022, an increase of 15% year over year, alongside net income growth of 54%.

Consultant Frances Lewis has been head of workforce solutions with Osborne Clarke LLP for over 13 years. She has been advising staffing businesses since 1997, including some of the first UK MSP and RPO deals in the early 2000s. She now advises gig worker platforms, staffing supply chain risk compliance businesses and payment intermediaries and employers of record. Lewis advises on commercial, regulatory and workplace tax aspects of engaging and supplying contingent workforces in the UK and internationally. She recently was a contributor for Construction News UK, calling for Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) umbrella services to be considered as part of the consultation.

Adelle Harrington is vice president of EMEA at KellyOCG, where she is celebrating her 20-year anniversary. Harrington has held diverse roles across EMEA and APAC as part of her journey, her impact marked by her ability to build high-performing teams that ensure every member is heard, equipped and recognised and that employee well-being is prioritised. In her current role, Harrington is setting a course for KellyOCG that marries digitisation with human tasks to create automation across their products and workflows, enabling optimisation of work and a stronger focus on value-add activities that enhance the client experience.

Rob Zandbergen, CEO of RGF Staffing B.V. and executive VP, head of staffing business of Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd, started in staffing in 2003 as CFO of Solvus N.V. Headquartered in the Netherlands, RGF Staffing is part of Recruit Holdings, the fifth-largest staffing firm in the world. Zandbergen in June oversaw the launch of RGF Connect, a global social programme focused on connecting underserved populations with education, training and jobs, furthering his and RGF Staffing’s vision of becoming the world’s most sustainable staffing company.

Managing Director David Wicks founded European Recruitment in 2009 from his spare bedroom with the aim to “redefine the essence of staffing.” His research-led approach to finding the best candidates means European Recruitment works with many of the top five companies across their sectors. Prior to this, Wicks co-founded Eurostaff Group (now Halian) in 2003, which he sold in 2008. European Recruitment has grown to 75 employees and a £25 million turnover under Wicks’ leadership. With 23 years of staffing experience, he also founded USA Tech Recruit Inc in 2017 and is affiliated with Apsco and RDLC.
