Peter Searle, executive chairman of Norman Broadbent, started his career in IT recruitment in 1988 and quickly became a key leader in the staffing and contingent labour industry. With 34 years of experience, Searle served as CEO for various companies across the vertical. He assumed his role on Norman Broadbent’s board in June 2021; he was executive chairman of Airswift from 2018 to 2021 and chairman of Hiring Hub from January 2020 until November 2022. Looking ahead, Searle plans to continue supporting Norman Broadbent’s leadership by promoting growth within the business, with a focus on evolving company culture to add further value to the organisation.

Prior to this, Wicks co-founded Eurostaff Group (now Halian) in 2003, which he sold in 2008. European Recruitment has grown to 75 employees and a £25 million turnover under Wicks’ leadership. With 23 years of staffing experience, he also founded USA Tech Recruit Inc in 2017 and is affiliated with Apsco and RDLC.

Edilson Camara is CEO of Swiss executive search firm Egon Zehnder. Based in the US, Camara provides board consulting, executive search and leadership assessment services to global, local and family-owned companies. He joined Egon Zehnder in 1999, working with industrial clients in Brazil where he opened Egon Zehnder’s first office in Rio de Janeiro. He then advanced to become the leader of the Brazilian practice while growing it to become the firm’s most profitable worldwide. Camara was appointed to the executive committee in 2009 and later also joined the finance committee. He also led the Canadian practice’s three offices from 2013-2019.

An industry veteran of more than 20 years, Sebastian Lazay was president of the Federal Employers’ Association of Staffing Services (BAP) in Germany since 2017 and previously was its VP since 2011. This year, Lazay helped lay the groundwork for the merger between BAP and the Interest Group of German Temporary Employment Agencies to form the General Association of Personnel Service Providers, of which he is now deputy. Additionally, Lazay is managing director of the Hamburg-based staffing firm Extra-Personalservice GmbH, an executive committee member of the Federal Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services, and has been VP of large-scale services since 2015.

Leading Adecco as its global president since January 2021, Christophe Catoir was selected as co-host for the first European Tent Business Summit this year to help pledge jobs for refugees. At this conference, he announced Adecco’s commitment to help at least 50,000 refugees find quality jobs in the next three years. Catoir joined The Adecco Group in France in 1995, and over the past 28 years, his career has progressed through various national, regional and global positions of increasing responsibility. Catoir is a board member of GAN Global Apprenticeship Network, Geneva, Switzerland and a board member (Conseil d’Administration) of IESEG School of Management, Lille, France.

As CEO of the Employment & Recruitment Federation, Geraldine King continues to facilitate its services and upskill offerings. In 2022, King introduced the first graduate exit programme in partnership with the National College of Ireland for a bachelor’s degree in recruitment practice — the sole degree in the world attached to the country’s national framework of education. Her plans include developing the first-ever master’s accreditation for Ireland recruiters. A 22-year staffing veteran, King is an executive board member at the World Employment Confederation and a board member of the Ireland external advisory board for the digital reform of public sector recruitment.

Gobinet has been awarded the Chevalier Ordre National du Mérite (National Order of Merit). Gobinet also serves as vice president treasurer of French staffing association Prism’emploi and president of Loiret Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
