Rob Zandbergen is CEO of Recruit Global Staffing in the Netherlands. The group was previously known as USG People until it changed its name on 1 January 2018. Recruit Global Staffing is responsible for managing all of Recruit Group’s staffing activities. Zandbergen was appointed as the CEO of USG People in 2010, after serving as the company’s CFO since 2005. He was CFO of Belgian staffing group Solvus between 2003 and 2005, when the company was acquired by USG People. In addition to his work at Recruit Global Staffing, Zandbergen is a member of the supervisory board of the Dutch Flower Group and was appointed to the supervisory board of Dutch energy company Eneco Holding in March 2015.

Hans Ploos van Amstel joined the Adecco Group as CFO in September 2015. He started his career in finance at Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the Netherlands in 1989. Between 1992 and 2003, he held positions of increasing responsibility in P&G across Saudi Arabia, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. In 2003, he joined Levi Strauss & Co. in Belgium as VP of finance and operations, Europe, and moved to the USA as global CFO in 2005. In his most recent position, Van Amstel was CFO of COFRA Group, a company active in fashion retail, commercial real estate and private equity, from 2009 to 2013, before acting as co-CEO of C&A Europe for a transition period until 2015.

Alex Mulder has been a member of the supervisory board of USG People NV since 2006, where he is a member of the remuneration and appointments committee. In 1972, at the age of 25, he founded staffing firm Unique Uitzendbureau, which merged with rival staffing firm Goudsmit in 1997 to form USG People. Mulder was chairman and CEO of USG from its inception until 2006. During his tenure Mulder oversaw the acquisitions of a Start Holding in 2002, an employment agency that had been privatised by the Dutch government six years earlier, and Belgian staffing group Solvus.

Margriet Spijker is general manager of Timing, the seventh-largest staffing company in the Netherlands and part of the ADG Group. She joined Timing in 1988 as a consultant, followed by various management positions, up to deputy manager, a role in which she worked alongside Annemarie Laan van Dongen, who retired as general manager in January 2012 after 18 years.

Dinette Koolhaas is Kelly Services’ VP and managing director EMEA. She is also a board member for Kelly’s joint venture with Persol in Asia Pacific and a board member of the World Employment Confederation. Fluent in English, German, Dutch and French, Koolhaas first worked at a logistics consultancy agency in Holland. In 1997, she began her career in staffing with USG People, leading brands Secretary Plus and Unique. She then joined Kelly Services in 2008 as VP and regional general manager for Western Europe. Koolhaas was promoted to VP operations for EMEA in 2013 and to her current role in 2017. She has an MBA from the Business School Netherlands.

Jacques van den Broek is CEO and chairman of the executive board of Randstad, the second largest staffing firm in the world. He is responsible for Germany, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore & Malaysia, Business Concept Development, Global Client Solutions, HR, Marketing & Communications, and Public Affairs. Van den Broek joined Randstad in 1988 as a branch manager and has held various position at the company throughout his career. He was appointed to the executive board in 2004.

Margriet Spijker is general manager of private Dutch staffing firm Timing, a part of the ADG services group. According to research from Staffing Industry Analysts, Timing is the fifth-largest staffing firm in the Netherlands. Spijker has more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, having joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and held various management positions, including deputy manager, before being appointed general manager in 2012.

Recently, Steenvoorden spearheaded the launch of Randstad Marketing Insights, creating a global data ocean of aggregated data to better support both clients and talent with early insights into labor trends and skill scarcity. Prior to joining Randstad, he served as CIO at Rabobank.

Chris Heutink started his career at Randstad as a consultant in the Netherlands in 1991. Various management positions followed until 2004, when he was promoted to managing director of Randstad Poland. After moving back to the Netherlands in 2007, he became director of operations. In 2009, he was appointed managing director of Randstad Netherlands. Heutink is responsible for all operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe (Poland, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary), as well as for global client solutions. He was appointed to the executive board in 2014.
