Herwig Muyldermans is the general director of Federgon, the Belgian staffing association. He plays a central role in negotiating with the Belgian government and its social partners on behalf of the Belgian staffing industry. His perseverance is helping result in the removal of one of the last restrictions to temporary agency work in the country; the federal government announced in 2014 that staffing providers would be able to provide services to the public sector, and the Flemish government echoed the decision in 2016. Before joining the association in 1990, Muyldermans occupied senior positions at the Belgian association representing the clothing industry.

Following an eight-year period during which he set up the firm’s New York office, Walters returned to London and established Robert Walters in 1985, specialising in junior- to middle-management professional positions. The company now operates across 28 countries, employs more than 3,400 people and has revenue of £998.5 million.

Simon Blockley is the managing director of Guidant Group, a recruitment outsourcing provider division of Impellam. Blockley has 20 years of recruitment outsourcing and managed service expertise, covering MSP and RPO design, planning and implementation.

Blockley joined Guidant in February 2014 as client solutions director and, after achieving considerable success in this role, was recently promoted to managing director. He is responsible for implementing Guidant’s three-year strategy (“Lead, People, Grow”) which sets a framework for the future direction of the business while ensuring an exceptional standard of service for clients, candidates, suppliers and employees.

Jean-François Denoy is managing director of Manpower France. He has held various positions during his career with ManpowerGroup, including roles with operational management responsibilities and in HR. As HR director, he led training, career management and HR development from 2006 to 2010. Denoy was appointed HR and services managing director of Manpower France in 2011 and managing director in 2012. Denoy holds master’s degrees in administrative and strategic management and human resources.

Chris Heutink started his career at Randstad as a consultant in the Netherlands in 1991. Various management positions followed until 2004, when he was promoted to managing director of Randstad Poland. After moving back to the Netherlands in 2007, he became director of operations. In 2009, he was appointed managing director of Randstad Netherlands. Heutink is responsible for all operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe (Poland, Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary), as well as for global client solutions. He was appointed to the executive board in 2014.

Johnathan Johnson is CEO of Fircroft, which was founded by his father, John Johnson. He joined in 1997 as a consultant and was promoted to operations director for the international oil and gas sector in 2001. Since taking the helm in 2005, he has overseen the global expansion of the company, taking advantage of the globalisation in the oil and gas industry. As CEO, Johnson has made sure that the company’s service offering has developed to meet the needs of its growing client base.

Rob Zandbergen was appointed CEO of USG People in 2010, having served as the company’s CFO since 2005. Zandbergen was CFO of Belgian staffing group Solvus between 2003 and 2005, when the company was acquired by USG People. In addition to his work at USG People, Zandbergen is a member of the supervisory board of the Dutch Flower Group and was appointed to the supervisory board of Dutch energy company Eneco Holding in March 2015.

Ingrid Hofmann is CEO of I.K. Hofmann (also known as Hofmann Personal). Founded in 1985 in Nuremberg, Germany, I.K. Hofmann is one of the largest staffing agencies in Europe and one of the five largest staffing firms in Germany. I.K. Hofmann in 2010 was awarded the Ludwig Erhard Prize, the highest award for business excellence in Germany. I.K. Hofmann holds the Great Place to Work Platin Trust Champion Award and has been honoured 10 times in a row by the Great Place to Work Institute. Hofmann is a board member of the Federal Employment Agency and is an active member of the Employers’ Association of Personnel Service Providers, also known as BAP, and the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations, also known as BDA.

He has held senior management positions with a series of software companies and has successfully turned them into profitable and major players. Bench has also supported investment decisions for a number of major private equity and investment funds. In addition to HgCapital, he has been a senior advisor for SilverLake Sumeru and a senior partner for CDP Technology Ventures, a Canadian private equity fund that is part of Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec operating in the North American and European markets.

Christophe Catoir is the regional head of France for Adecco, and has been a member of the executive committee since September 2015. He joined Groupe Adecco France as internal auditor in 1995, immediately after his studies at the IESEG School of Management. In 2012, he was appointed managing director for Professional Staffing Groupe Adecco France. Between 1995 and 2005, Catoir held positions as finance manager and regional manager. In 2005, he was appointed head of permanent placement activities in France and became a member of the Groupe Adecco France management team in 2007. Catoir was appointed managing director of Adecco South-East France in 2009.
