Daniel Augereau is chairman and CEO of Synergie, the sixth-largest staffing firm in France. He trained as a technical blue-collar worker in the aeronautic industry and soon after founded his first staffing firm, Europe Technique Assistance, in 1969. Ten years later, the company merged with another staffing firm, Sidergie, resulting in the launch of the Synergie brand. In 2016, the company reported a double-digit revenue growth rate, spurred by strong performances both in its home market and abroad.

Francesco Baroni was named country manager of Gi Group Italia in 2019. In addition to coordinating the activities of Gi Group’s various brands, he leads the strategic development of an integrated value proposition to meet the increasingly complex needs of companies and candidates. He joined Gi Group in 2014 as a business innovation and technology management senior executive. Baroni previously worked for consulting firms and public institutions including at IBM and the Regione Lombardia Government. Gi Group ranks among the world’s largest staffing providers, operating directly in 28 countries with a partner network in 57 additional countries.

Herwig Muyldermans is the general director of Federgon, the Belgian staffing association. He plays a central role in negotiating with the Belgian government and its social partners on behalf of the Belgian staffing industry. His perseverance is helping result in the removal of one of the last restrictions to temporary agency work in the country; the federal government announced in 2014 that staffing providers would be able to provide services to the public sector, and the Flemish government echoed the decision in 2016. Before joining the association in 1990, Muyldermans occupied senior positions at the Belgian association representing the clothing industry.

Claude Guedj has been chairman and CEO of Groupe CRIT since 2002. He founded the company in 1962 and was first appointed to the board in 1969. Guedj is considered a pioneer and innovator in the French staffing industry. Under his management, Groupe CRIT rose to the top five largest staffing firms in France, and top 20 globally. In 2015, Groupe CRIT largely outpaced the French market and boosted its operations in Spain and the United States.

Eckard Gatzke has been CEO of Randstad Germany since 2003. He is responsible for the sales organisation, marketing and communications, and human resources. He is also country general manager for sister companies Tempo-Team and GULP. Under Gatzke’s leadership, Randstad Germany has become the largest staffing firm in the country in terms of revenue. Before joining Randstad, Gatzke distinguished himself as an expert in the restructuring and reorganisation of leading companies in the logistics industry in Germany and Europe. His previous employers include Kuehne & Nagel, TNT, BahnTrans and Rhenus.

Oliver Watson is an executive board director for the PageGroup. He is responsible for all Michael Page, Page Executive and Page Personnel operations in the UK, US, Canada, Middle East and South Africa. Prior to this, he was regional managing director for Michael Page UK. Watson joined the company as a consultant in London in 1995.

Richard Jager, CEO of Randstad Germany, eagerly develops talents throughout the organization. He has been a member of the management of the Randstad Group Germany since 2017. Jager started his career at Randstad Netherlands in 1995 as a consultant and then took on additional responsibilities in regional Dutch management. In 2010, he became CEO of Randstad Switzerland. Most recently, he was responsible for the international Randstad Global Client Solutions business, which deals with strategic business, HR and talent issues. The economist also sits on the advisory board of Wittenborg University and Nyenrode Business University in Amsterdam.

Openjobmetis S.p.A. saw record revenue in 2021 compared to previous years, and at the forefront of that achievement was CEO Rosario Rasizza. Under Rasizza’s leadership, Openjobmetis in the first half of 2022 completed the integration and reorganisation process for the Quanta Group with the merger of Quanta S.p.A. into Openjobmetis and the merger of Quanta Risorse Umane S.p.A. into Openjob Consulting S.r.l. The company also improved its Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating this year to 10.4 points from 12.5 points, placing it among the top HR firms ranked by the organisation. Rasizza looks forward to a year full of new challenges in 2023.

Stephen Trigg is CEO of Hertfordshire, England-based staffing firm Quanta Consultancy Services, which he founded in 1992. The company has won several awards including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade in 2016 and the Princess Royal Training Award in 2018, which honours employers whose training and skills development programmes have resulted in exceptional commercial benefits. Trigg has been leading his team safely through the ongoing Covid-19 crisis and has created business opportunities internationally, including in the US. Trigg also supports five local charities through multiple fundraising events. His recruitment career began in 1974 when he founded several companies before founding Quanta.

Étienne Colella is CEO of PIXID, a VMS provider headquartered in France, which he founded in 2004. The firm offers an SAAS application compliant with the French regulation for providing and using temporary staff. In 2015, private equity fund Keensight Capital took a majority stake in the company to help it become a leading VMS in the European market. PIXID bought Internet Corp. in January 2017 to start deploying its services to the UK market. Previously, Colella spent 14 years in the IT industry in various senior positions. Colella graduated from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
