Along with co-founder Novo Abakare, CEO Jack Beaman developed Syft, now Indeed Flex, out of a drive to change how temp staffing works by helping to democratise access to both workers and work. During the past year, Beaman led the move to the remote onboarding of new “Flexers” and kept the no-show rate at 2.6% with no redundancies made. Beaman plans to build on the group’s success in the UK and continue its US expansion; the group has already launched in four US cities. In addition to his role as CEO of Indeed Flex, Beaman became vice president of staffing solutions for Indeed, which acquired Syft, in 2020.

As SVP, EMEA markets and operations, Manuel Roger is responsible for Beeline’s operations in Europe. He joined Adecco Group in 1998 as an international IT project manager, where he was responsible for front-office solutions, online testing, and e-commerce platforms. In 2002, Roger became an IT international procurement manager for Adecco Group. In 2014, he became Adecco Group global procurement director and successfully developed Adecco Group’s global procurement department. Roger served as Adecco Group’s LATAM zone finance director from 2009 to 2011. He then became SVP international product management at Beeline to expand Beeline’s product and service offerings outside of North America.

At the end of 2015, Federico Vione was appointed chief sales and innovation officer for Adecco. He originally joined Adecco in 1998 as a temp. In 2001 he became country manager of Ajilon Italy and then Switzerland in 2003. In 2005, Vione was appointed project leader, global account management, and subsequently head of Eastern Europe & Russia. In 2008, he was appointed country manager of Adecco Italy and in 2009 regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe & MENA. In 2011, he assumed responsibility of India & North Africa. Vione has been president and then VP of Assolavoro (Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies) till 2015.

He began his career as a consultant with Randstad Netherlands in 1995 and held various leadership roles including CEO of Randstad company Talisman Software. In 2011, Jager was promoted to CEO of Randstad Switzerland and in 2015 became CEO of both Randstad Switzerland and Austria, a position he held until December 2015. Jager became CEO of Randstad Group Germany in September 2017. In addition to his roles in Randstad, Jager has served on the advisory boards for Randstad, Wittenborg University and Nyenrode Business University in Amsterdam.

Netherlands-based Brunel was ranked by SIA as the 61st-largest staffing firm in the world. Andringa plans to drive a balanced environmental, social and governance agenda, including better diversity in succession planning to foster equity in all levels of the organisation. In 2022, Brunel became carbon neutral. Prior to joining Brunel in 2017, Andriga was president, Northern Europe, of ManpowerGroup; he previously held management positions at Randstad. Andringa is also a member of the supervisory board of EW Facility Services.

As president of Work Service from March 2019 to August 2020, Iwona Szmitkowska led the company through a restructuring process and was a key player in the majority stake acquisition of Work Service by Gi Group, which was finalised in August. Now VP of Work Service SA, she plans to focus within the Polish market on automation of HR processes, HR restructuring, and recruitment and outsourcing. Associated with Work Service since 2003, she is also president of the Work Service Foundation and since 2017 has been the president of the management board of the Employment Agencies Association, the largest Polish organisation specializing in delivering HR.

She started her career in engineering and found the mix of technical and people needs a fast fit. Hermans joined Randstad in 2001, moving from regional to national manager, where she would later become CEO of Randstad Group Netherlands in 2021. Today, she leads Randstad in 13 European countries.
