No stranger to tech startups, Felipe Navío was advisor and founder of ticket marketplace ticketbis in 2007 and strategy consultant in 2008 for Tuenti as it pivoted from being the “Spanish Facebook” to its present iteration as a cloud-based telephony service. In 2009, he joined with Juan Urdiales to co-found on-demand staffing platform Jobandtalent in 2009. Under Navío’s co-leadership, Madrid-based Jobandtalent secured €100 million from the SoftBank Vision Fund 2 to promote expansion into new markets. Jobandtalent serves Colombia, France, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and, as of this year, the United States.

Mark De Smedt has been the The Adecco Group’s regional head of Northern Europe since January 2016, leading also Germany, Austria and Switzerland as part of the same region as of July 2017. He joined The Adecco Group in 2009 as country manager for Belgium & Luxembourg. He was previously managing partner of professional staffing specialist XPE Group. Prior to this, he was responsible for The Adecco Group’s Benelux operations between 2002 and 2007. Before joining staffing, De Smedt held various executive positions at Wang, Apple, Citibank, and Scoot in France, Spain and Belgium.

Impellam Group CEO Julia Robertson has worked in staffing for her entire career and has enjoyed both entrepreneurial and corporate success. She founded her own recruitment company in 1986 and later joined Tate as managing director, where she developed her craft, subsequently selling both businesses to Carlisle Staffing Services, now the Impellam Group. Robertson became CEO of Impellam’s UK staffing and managed services businesses after the 2008 merger and was appointed group CEO in April 2013. She formerly served as CEO of the Institute of Employment Consultants (now known as the REC), the professional body for the UK recruitment industry.

He was appointed to the executive board in 2004 and as CEO and chairman in 2014. She joined the company as a consultant in 1988 and has fulfilled various management positions, including deputy manager and general manager. ADG Group acquired staffing firm In Person last year, which also came under her supervision.
