Thierry Geffroy is chairman and CEO of Francebased Samsic RH, which operates in more than 25 countries, serves 30,000-plus customers and has turnover of £2.5 billion. Geffroy joined the group in 1992 and in 2010 became the president of Samsic RH, the group’s human resources arm, before attaining his current role in 2019. Under Geffroy’s leadership, Samsic acquired a majority stake in recruitment services firm Sellick Partnership and made two acquisitions in Ireland and Morocco, its first expansion into the African continent. This year, Geffroy and his team are pursuing an international development strategy through the acquisition of Infor Group.

Carmen Watson, chair and managing director of Pertemps, joined Pertemps in 1976 as a secretary and was later responsible for the corporate business team and growing turnover to £323 million from £32 million between 1983 and 2000. In 2018, Watson was named Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors in West Midland and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the REC IRP Awards in London. She is trustee and chair of the Women in Business patrons’ group, board member of Race for Opportunity charity as well as a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Founded by Johnson’s father to serve the North Sea oil and gas industry in 1970, Fircroft serves more than 100 companies across a wide range of specialist technical sectors and ranked fourth on SIA’s 2019 list of the world’s largest engineering staffing firms. The newly combined NES Fircroft would rank as the 26th largest staffing firm globally, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.

Since 2014, Jurriën Koops has served as the managing director for ABU, the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies. Under Koops’ leadership, ABU, fellow organisation NBBU and the unions negotiated a collective labour agreement in 2019 for all of Netherland’s temporary workers. This is the first time that the industry has seen such an accomplishment in 25 years and is a major victory for Koops. In the coming years, ABU hopes to generate increased support for temporary work. ABU has outlined six strategic projects that focus on the quality and benefits of temporary employment to help them realise this goal.

Picarelli first joined Adecco in 1993, holding several leadership positions before becoming country manager of Adecco Italy and Switzerland from 2005 to 2009 (Switzerland until the end of 2008). He was the group’s chief sales officer from 2009 to September 2015, when he became regional head of Italy, Eastern Europe and Middle East and North Africa.

He joined the company in 1992 after graduating from Harvard Business School. Reed is also a published author and has written The 7 Second CV, Why You? and 101 Interview Questions You’ll Never Fear Again; he also co-authored Put Your Mindset to Work.

Now VP of Work Service SA, she plans to focus within the Polish market on automation of HR processes, HR restructuring, and recruitment and outsourcing. Associated with Work Service since 2003, she is also president of the Work Service Foundation and since 2017 has been the president of the management board of the Employment Agencies Association, the largest Polish organisation specializing in delivering HR.
