He is a chartered engineer with a degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Salford. He also holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in California, US. Cox began his career at British Aerospace and eventually moved into staffing, having been appointed chief executive at Xansa plc, the IT outsourcing organisation, before joining Hays. He has also served as a non-executive director at 3i Plc and at Just Eat, and is currently chairman of the British and Irish Modern Music Institute.

He is responsible for global finance and accounting, business control, M&A, tax, treasury, business risk and audit, investor relations and legal. In 2019, Randstad achieved record-high free cash flow, providing the opportunity to strengthen its balance sheet and reduce its debt position. Together with a cost optimisation program, this improved its incremental conversion ratio resulting in an EBITA of 4.9% in the last quarter. Schirmer is also a member of the board of directors of General American Investors and the non-profit organisation Results for Development.

To support organisations in dealing with demand-surge during the Covid-19 crisis, Dunett and his team this year launched a new service called Rapidsource, which has helped the NHS fill 600,000 shifts, process more than 50,000 expressions of interest, get 17,500-plus healthcare professionals to work and support 45 new NHS trusts.

Now VP of Work Service SA, she plans to focus within the Polish market on automation of HR processes, HR restructuring, and recruitment and outsourcing. Associated with Work Service since 2003, she is also president of the Work Service Foundation and since 2017 has been the president of the management board of the Employment Agencies Association, the largest Polish organisation specializing in delivering HR.

Since 2014, Jurriën Koops has served as the managing director for ABU, the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies. Under Koops’ leadership, ABU, fellow organisation NBBU and the unions negotiated a collective labour agreement in 2019 for all of Netherland’s temporary workers. This is the first time that the industry has seen such an accomplishment in 25 years and is a major victory for Koops. In the coming years, ABU hopes to generate increased support for temporary work. ABU has outlined six strategic projects that focus on the quality and benefits of temporary employment to help them realise this goal.
