In his new role, Rieux will continue to shepherd the firm’s expansion and financial growth.

In 2006, he was appointed managing director of Asia Pacific and has been managing director of the UK and Ireland, and chairman of the Asia Pacific business, since 2012. He has been with Hays for more than 25 years and has successfully led the growth of the Asia-Pacific business. Heap serves as a director of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Australia) Pty Ltd. and the Hays Specialist Recruitment (Australia) Pty Ltd. New Zealand branch.

Jurriën Koops was appointed director of the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies, ABU, in 2014, having joined the organisation in 2002. In addition to his work with ABU, Koops is also chairman of the Foundation for Training and Development in the Flexible Staffing Industry. Prior to joining ABU, Koops worked as a policy advisor for trade union CNV, which represents the interests of workers in construction, the industrial sector, transportation, food and services. He was also a senior consultant for business development for Dutch staffing firm Start People, a USG People company, and a board member of the Dutch Association.

Recognizing that the traditional college path isn’t working for all workers or even employers, CEO Euan Blair MBE in 2016 founded London-based Multiverse, which offers apprenticeship programmes in skills ranging from business operations to data science and software engineering. Valued at $1.7 billion in June 2022 during its series D funding round, Multiverse has partnered with more than 500 employers to train nearly 9,000 young adults and those looking to reskill. Blair previously had been UK CEO of the staffing and recruiting firm Sarina Russo Group. This year, Blair was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire, or MBE, for services to education.

Alain Dehaze

Alain Dehaze was appointed CEO of The Adecco Group in 2015. He joined the group in 2009 as regional head of Northern Europe. Initially trained as a commercial engineer, Dehaze held senior positions in various European countries at Henkel and ISS from 1987 until 2000. From 2000 to 2009, Dehaze held leadership roles at Creyf’s Interim in Belgium, Humares, USG People and Solvus. He became chair of the Global Apprenticeship Network in 2016. Dehaze was VP of the board of the World Employment Confederation Europe and member of the board of the WEC between 2010 and 2015. Since 2017, he has been a member of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work.

His commitment to growth while enhancing the temporary employment sector through economic value drivers has not gone unnoticed in recent years. In 2023, Rasizza led Openjobmetis to receive an ESG risk rating of 9.6, which puts the company in the top 5% of HR Service organizations in the Sustainalytics Global Universe. He also was recognised for his commitment to job placement of refugees and asylum seekers, awarded the “Welcome. Working for refugee integration” by the UN for Refugee Agency.

Michael Krottmayer serves as CFO of Trenkwalder and is also a member of the management board and the board of directors. In addition, he is in charge of the countries in southeastern Europe. Krottmayer had numerous CFO roles before joining Trenkwalder, most recently at the Internet Security firm emarsys eMarketing Systems and prior to that, at ISS Austria, the facilities services company. Krottmayer is bilingual and has a higher degree in business administration from Karl-Franzens-University Graz.

In 2021, Allen led the merger and integration programme between Airswift and Competentia, which concluded six months ahead of schedule and delivered 10% more on synergies than the initial forecast. Under his leadership, the company’s EMEA and CIS region grew by 42% in the ­ rst quarter. After more than two decades with the company, Allen continues to thrive on the opportunities and challenges Airswift brings each day.

In 2008, he successfully finalized the acquisition of Vitae, a specialty engineering and finance firm with revenues in excess of €74 million.

USG People is the fourth-largest staffing firm in Europe.
