Kevin Barrow is a partner with law firm Osborne Clarke. Since 1990, he has advised staffing companies on all types of legal work including commercial deals, international joint ventures and M&A. His multicountry team works for more than 100 hirers and suppliers on market-leading UK, EU and international flexible workforce — MSP, RPO and VMS — projects, regulation of digital recruitment and online exchanges, tax planning relating to flexible workforces and worker misclassification and coemployment class actions. Barrow has led a campaign to change the regulatory regime affecting online exchanges, and in the last three years has rolled out staffing/MSP deals in 40 countries.

Sergio Picarelli was appointed regional head of Italy; Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa; and India for Adecco in October 2015. In 1993, Picarelli joined Adecco in Italy, starting as managing director of an Adecco Group Company (Permanent Placement). In 1997, he was appointed chief sales and marketing director, Italy. From 2002 to 2004 Picarelli served as regional head for Central Europe and was thereafter appointed COO of Adecco Staffing Division Worldwide. From 2005 to 2009, he served as country manager of Adecco Italy and Switzerland (Switzerland until the end of 2008). From January 2009 until his appointment as chief sales officer in October 2009, he served as chief international sales officer of the Adecco Group. Picarelli graduated in business administration from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

As deputy CEO of Robert Walters plc, Giles Daubeney joined the company in 1988. Prior to Robert Walters, Daubeney worked in recruitment for Accountancy Selection Ltd. and Badenoch & Clark Ltd. At Robert Walters, Daubeney was based in Amsterdam from 1990 to 1994 and was responsible for the group’s Dutch and Belgian operations. Daubeney was appointed to the role of COO in 1999, and to the board in 2000. He became deputy CEO in January 2016. In this role, Daubeney works closely with the chairman and the board, taking a more active role in the company’s strategy.

Stefano Colli-Lanzi is founder and CEO of Gi Group. Established in 1998 in Italy, Gi Group is one of the world’s leading HR companies, providing a range of services for the development of the labour market. Gi Group now operates in more than 40 countries worldwide, either directly or through strategic partnerships. Colli-Lanzi is the vice chairman of Assolavoro (Italian National Association for Employment Agencies) and is a professor of business economics at the Milan Catholic University.

Sergey Salikov is CEO of ANCOR Holding, one of the largest recruitment and staffing services companies in Russia and the CIS countries. Salikov joined ANCOR in 1994 and was appointed the director of ANCOR Far-East regional office in Vladivostok the following year. In this new role, he successfully formed the Eastern division and added Irkutsk and Khabarovsk offices to the ANCOR network.

Since moving to Moscow in 2004, Salikov has held a number of senior positions and was also appointed to the management board. Under his leadership, the company has increased its client base, diversified and extended its product line, and become nationally recognised.

Frank Farrelly is COO and co-founder at Sigmar Recruitment, leading a team of more than 120 recruitment professionals nationwide. Over the last seven years, Farrelly has been a committee member, treasurer, VP and secretary for the National Recruitment Federation in Ireland and was elected NRF president in 2016. He was part of the NRF team that lobbied the government on the Agency Workers Act, Zero Hours Contracts and ‘If & When’ contracts. Farrelly recently led NRF’s efforts that secured the hosting of the 2018 World Employment Conference in Ireland.

Farrelly was nonexecutive director for The People Group from 2005 to 2009; he currently sits on the external interview panel for the MBA programme at Dublin City University and has delivered courses for The Ryan Academy and The Smurfit Business School.

Brian Wilkinson is CEO of UK-based specialist engineering and technology recruitment firm Gattaca, having joined the company in December 2013. Gattaca posted turnover of £616.9 million in 2016. Wilkinson has worked in the recruitment industry for more than 35 years and brings extensive international as well as M&A experience to Gattaca. Wilkinson has been an active proponent of raising standards over that time, serving terms as chairman of both the Federation of Recruitment and Employment Services and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. In 2015, he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement award by the REC.

Enrique Sanchez serves as Adecco’s regional head of Iberia & Latin America, a position he has held since October 2009. Sanchez joined Adecco Spain in 1993 as branch manager. In 1995, he became regional manager of the Central Region. Two years later, he was appointed operations manager, and in 2001 president and general manager of Adecco Spain and Portugal. From 2003 to 2005, Enrique Sanchez was general manager for Spain and Portugal, and was also responsible for the development of the company in Latin America and Eastern Europe. In 2005, he returned to Spain, becoming responsible for Adecco Group Iberia.

Yvon Drouet is the deputy general manager of Synergie, the sixth-largest staffing firm in France and one of the largest staffing firms in Europe. Publicly listed on NYSE Euronext Paris, the company is expanding rapidly outside its home market. Drouet oversees group finance and investments, and plays a key role in Synergie’s international expansion. Spain, Italy and Belgium have become key markets for the group, accounting collectively for more than 30% of revenue in 2016. The Acorn subsidiary is at the core of the group’s expansion strategy in the UK and Australia. In the first quarter of 2017, international operations represented 50% of Synergie’s revenue.
