A seasoned leader, Mark Pollok has held various management positions within Trenkwalder Group since 2017 and before that in the Droege Group since 2011. He was appointed as CEO of Trenkwalder in December 2022. Pollok was previously a member of the board of directors of Trenkwalder Group, responsible for group operations in Germany and Austria, digitisation and business development customer experience. In this role, he drove digital transformation and the expansion of the customer experience business. Pollok aims to develop Trenkwalder into one of the leading service providers in the field of HR service and customer experience using digitisation and AI technology.

Maria Raffaella Caprioglio is president of Umana SpA, the fifth-largest staffing firm in Italy with more than 130 branches throughout Italy. She joined Umana in 1998, and in 2001 joined Umana’s board of directors. Caprioglio became VP in 2007 and president in 2012. Caprioglio’s career took off when, at the age of 23, she joined what was then known as the Industrial Association for the province of Venice, becoming the first woman to hold office within that organisation. Caprioglio is a member of the general council of industrial association Assolombarda Confindustria Milano and is a member of its ICT Group Council and Business Services committee.

James Reed joined Reed Global in 1992 as a non-executive director, became CEO in 1997 and has served as chairman since 2004. In December 2022, Reed was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to business and charity. Among his initiatives: Everyone at Reed Global spends one day a week working for charity. Reed in Partnership recently launched a new division, Reed Environment, to address the UK’s Net Zero skills shortage by creating one of the largest networks of green skills training providers in the UK. Reed is a trustee of the Reed Foundation and the Big Give.

Alain Dehaze is CEO of The Adecco Group. After graduating as a commercial engineer at the ICHEC Brussels Management School, Dehaze rose through the ranks at Henkel and ISS. In 2000, he was appointed managing director of Creyf’s Interim in Belgium. Between 2002 and 2009, Dehaze held executive roles at Humares, USG People and Solvus. Dehaze joined The Adecco Group in 2009 as regional head of Northern Europe and was appointed regional head of France in 2011 before becoming CEO in September 2015. Since 2016, Dehaze has been chair of the Global Apprenticeship Network. He is also a member of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work; steward of the World Economic Forum System Initiative on Education, Gender and Work; and co-chair of the governors for the WEF’s Professional Services Industry Community. Dehaze was also vice president of the World Employment Confederation Europe.

Christian Roulleau is the founder and CEO of the French facility management group Samsic, which provides staffing services with the SamsicEmploi brand. SamsicEmploi features among the top 10 largest staffing firms in France, and is one of the largest privately owned firms in the market. Roulleau previously held a wide range of positions within the GSF group operating in the cleaning services industry, and founded Samsic in 1986.

Leen Geirnaerdt is the CFO and board member of the Dutch group USG People. She was nominated in 2010. Japanese staffing giant Recruit Holdings completed its acquisition of USG People in July. Before acting as the group CFO, Geirnaerdt held various senior management positions within the group, including that of general manager of USG People Belgium’s shared service centre transactions and support. Finally, she served as corporate controller at Solvus N.V. until the firm was acquired by USG People.

He joined the company in 1986 and took over as managing director in 1999 from his father, Gerry Mason (see separate entry), with backing from Barclays Private Equity. The company was floatedon AIM in 2006 and taken private again in 2012.

Timo Lehne began his career in staffing in 2006 at SThree’s Progressive Recruitment business in Germany. Now Lehne serves as CEO for SThree. He is also a member of Apsco Germany and the World Economic Council, and he is a founding member of the German Freelance Association. In 2022, Lehne led SThree to a record net fee and profit performance for the year with like-for-like net fees up 19% and profits up 24%. This was due to the successful execution of strategies Lehne put in place. Going forward, Lehne plans on growing SThree and enhancing its candidate and client experience through a targeted technology improvement programme.
