Oktay Erciyaz was promoted to CEO of the Trenkwalder Group AG in May 2017. In 2017, the group had an annual turnover of €800 million with 50,000 employees and 200 offices worldwide. In addition to managing Trenkwalder Group AG, he focuses on sales, growth and business development. Erciyaz, an MBA, has more than 23 years of executive experience in international corporate and business development. He started his career at Preussag AG and held leadership positions for various units of the Bertelsmann Group, including country CEO positions in BeNeLux, Portugal and Turkey, as well as group-level executive vice president positions for corporate development and M&A.

Frank Farrelly is COO and co-founder of Sigmar Recruitment and has served as president of the National Recruitment Federation’s executive committee since 2016. He leads the team that lobbies the government on employment legislation, recruitment matters and GDPR, and was instrumental in helping the Federation secure an Apprenticeship in Recruitment practice on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications in 2018. Farrelly has been a nonexecutive director for The People Group. In 2018, Sigmar Recruitment formed a strategic partnership with Groupe Adéquat, one of the 50 largest global staffing firms in the world, according to SIA. A graduate of UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, he currently sits on the external interview panel for the MBA programme at Dublin City University.

Richard Herring joined Volt as director of European Staffing Services in 2006. In 2010, he became managing director at Volt Europe Ltd., a division of Volt Information Sciences Inc.; he also serves as its senior VP for EMEA and Asia operations, leading Volt’s staffing and MSP operations in Europe and Southeast Asia. His career in the recruitment industry began in 1988 at Reed Technology, where he ultimately led the IT recruitment business for more than five years. He then moved to The Skills Market, where he was operations director. He has served as an executive board member, Representative Committee chair, and chairman for the Association of Professional Staffing Companies, based in the UK.

Mark De Smedt has been the The Adecco Group’s regional head of Northern Europe since January 2016, leading also Germany, Austria and Switzerland as part of the same region as of July 2017. He joined The Adecco Group in 2009 as country manager for Belgium & Luxembourg. He was previously managing partner of professional staffing specialist XPE Group. Prior to this, he was responsible for The Adecco Group’s Benelux operations between 2002 and 2007. Before joining staffing, De Smedt held various executive positions at Wang, Apple, Citibank, and Scoot in France, Spain and Belgium.

Simon Blockley is the managing director of Guidant, the specialist recruitment outsourcing business of Impellam. Blockley has 20 years of recruitment outsourcing and managed service expertise, covering MSP and RPO design, planning and implementation. Blockley is also an executive board member of the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative. He joined Guidant in 2014 as client solutions director and was promoted to managing director in May 2017. He is responsible for implementing Guidant’s three-year strategy (“People-Lead-Growth”) which sets a framework for the future direction of the business while ensuring an exceptional standard of service for clients, candidates, suppliers and for Guidant’s employees.

Sergey Salikov is the CEO of ANCOR Holding, one of the largest recruitment and staffing services companies in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. Salikov joined ANCOR in 1994 and the following year was appointed the director of the ANCOR Far-East regional office. In this role, he successfully formed the Eastern division and added Irkutsk and Khabarovsk offices to the ANCOR network.

In 2004, Salikov headed up the strategic business department in Moscow. During his time in this department, the company expanded into Ukraine and Kazakhstan, increased its client base and diversified and extended its product line. Under his leadership over the last 10 years, the company has increased its turnover to RUB 13.5 billion in 2017 from RUB 3 billion 2008.

Jurriën Koops was appointed director of the Dutch Federation of Employment Agencies, ABU, in 2014, having joined the organisation in 2002. In addition to his work with ABU, Koops is also chairman of the Foundation for Training and Development in the Flexible Staffing Industry. Prior to joining ABU, Koops worked as a policy advisor for trade union CNV, which represents the interests of workers in construction, the industrial sector, transportation, food and services. He was also a senior consultant for business development for Dutch staffing firm Start People, a USG People company, and a board member of the Dutch Association.

As CEO of freelancing website Upwork, Stephane Kasriel drives the company’s vision of connecting businesses with talent faster than ever. Upwork connects 15 million freelancers to more than 5 million companies across more than 180 countries. Kasriel came to the company in 2012 as senior VP of engineering. In 2015, after he was named CEO, he led the company’s rebranding from Elance-oDesk. He also co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Education, Gender and Work. Kasriel’s expertise in the future of work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review and Bloomberg Review. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MS from Stanford and a BS from Ecole Polytechnique in France.

Geraldine King joined the National Recruitment Federation in 2009 and as its chief executive is responsible for running the NRF office and all divisions of the Federation. King led the lobbying effort that resulted in the awarding of the first apprenticeship programme for recruiters on the national academic framework, in partnership with the National College of Ireland. She is also a member of the MBA panel of interviewers for Dublin City University and a recent board member of the Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, King was a guest speaker at the World Employment Confederation. Prior to joining NRF, she worked at Grafton Recruitment as a branch manager.
