Alessandro Ramazza is chairman of Obiettivo Lavoro Group, which includes Obiettivo Lavoro, the seventh-largest Italian staffing firm in Italy, as per Staffing Industry Analysts’ largest staffing firms in Italy report. Before becoming chairman in 2005, he was the director of HR for CMC Group of Ravenna. Obiettivo Lavoro has more than 500 employees and 104 branch offices, spanning four staffing markets. Ramazza is an executive master of the London Business School.

Agostino Di Maio is general manager of Assolavoro, Italy’s national association for employment agencies. Di Maio ensures Assolavoro maintains high standards of industry excellence by sharing information, facilitating discussion around current issues, offering training and serving as a mediator between legislators, institutions and workers. In response to the Ukrainian crisis, Di Maio formed a partnership between Assolavoro and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, offering training, welfare and support for refugees of all nationalities and the agency workers who host them. Di Maio is a board member of Ebitemp and an executive committee member of the World Employment Confederation – Europe.

Maurizio Uboldi is international global head for Gi Group. Since January 2007, Uboldi has been responsible for the company’s international expansion programme. The company operates directly or through partnerships in more than 30 countries worldwide. In 1997, Uboldi co-foundedCronos Spa (Temporary Employment) and was member of the board from 1999 until 2002. He also has extensive experience with labour markets in China and Eastern Europe.

Riccardo Barberis joined ManpowerGroup in 1998 and was appointed as regional president, Northern Europe, in May 2021. Barberis oversees all of ManpowerGroup’s brands and offerings across Northern Europe including Manpower, Experis and Talent Solutions. He reports directly to Chairman and CEO Jonas Prising and is on ManpowerGroup’s executive leadership team. Prior to this role, Barberis was country manager for ManpowerGroup Italy. Barberis, who speaks five languages, has been a board member of Junior Achievement and VP of Assolavoro, the Italian staffing industry association. He also has served as president of ManpowerGroup’s Human Age Institute.

In 2008, he became a member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa strategic executive team, and in 2010, with the newly created Southern Europe region, his role expanded to regional managing director of Italy and Iberia. In 2014, Scabbio also became president of Assolavoro, the Italian Association of Private Employment Agencies. He is the founder and president of LinC magazine (Lavori in Corso).

Maria Raffaella Caprioglio is president of Umana Spa, which ranked No. 5 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2016 list of largest staffing firms in Italy. At the age of 23, she joined the then Industrial Association for the province of Venice, becoming the first woman to hold office within that organization. In 1998, Caprioglio left Confindustria to join Umana, and in 2001 she joined Umana’s board of directors. She became VP in 2007 and president in 2012.

Caprioglio is a member of the general council of Assolombarda Confindustria Milano, Monza and Brianza; vice chairman of the Ict Group; and president of the Professional Services Section.

Maria Raffaella Caprioglio, president of Umana SpA since 2012, is responsible for Umana’s efforts in marketing, branding and corporate communications. Caprioglio joined Umana in 1998 — when the staffing industry was starting to take shape in Italy — and helped make it possible for a small company to become a main player in the sector in Italy. With 2019 total turnover of €720 million, Umana is now the fifth-largest staffing firm in Italy and one of the few funded entirely with Italian capital. Caprioglio is a member of the national General Council of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) and sits on the board of many local industrial associations throughout the country.
