Harvey Nash was taken private by its largest shareholder, Dbay Advisors, in a $125 million deal during 2018. The company generated record revenue of over $1.2 billion in 2018 and made two acquisitions during the year. Ellis joined Harvey Nash from Hays in 1998, initially as finance director and later appointed as CEO.

Farida Gibbs is founder and CEO of Gibbs Hybrid, which provides resourcing and consultancy solutions across the UK, EMEA and North America. She founded Gibbs, a globally certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and Ethnic Minority-Owned Business, in 2005; under her leadership, the organisation’s Polish operation grew by 600% in 2020 and 2021. Gibbs supports the Women of the Future Ambassadors Programme and sits on the advisory board for Mosaic Prince’s Trust. She has won multiple awards and was named to SIA’s Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing list in 2021. Gibbs was also appointed to lead the UK government’s Supplier Diversity workstream.

After three years at Touche Ross, Robert Walters joined the recruitment firm Michael Page as one of its first employees. Following an eight-year period during which he set up the firm’s New York office, Walters returned to London and established Robert Walters in 1985, specialising in junior- to middle-management professional positions. The company now operates across 28 countries, employs more than 3,800 people and had revenue of £1.2 billion in 2017.

As group COO, Adrian Adair drives Morson Group’s diversification into new markets and transformation of the technical recruiter’s brand as a UK engineering expert into a global specialist in permanent and interim talent-based solutions. With 19 years’ industry experience, Adair identifies the right internal talent to drive Morson International and the wider Morson Group toward its goal of becoming a £1 billion business. Since he was appointed as COO in October 2018, business turnover is up 39% and profit is up 131%. Adair facilitated Morson International’s partnership with the Girls’ Network and the launch of its Salford division. Prior to his current role, Weston was the director for professional staffing across the UK South region, encompassing finance and accounting, financial services, human resources and administration recruitment. Weston started his career with Robert Half in 1999 as a recruitment consultant for finance and accounting; he quickly excelled, earning several prestigious awards including being recognised four times as Robert Half’s worldwide number one consultant. He is a familiar industry figure and is often called on by the media to discuss the current trends affecting the world of work, recruitment trends and advice.

James Kelly joined technology recruitment specialist Lorien Resourcing as CEO in August 2008. He has successfully guided Lorien through a period of rapid growth during which revenues increased from £147 million to £296 million and both contract and permanent placement numbers have doubled. With Lorien, Kelly has sold and delivered large-scale managed service and recruitment process outsource solutions for the likes of Fujitsu, Monitise, Phoenix and KPMG. Lorien currently has more than 200 staff members.
