Erciyaz, an MBA, has more than 23 years of executive experience in international corporate and business development. He started his career at Preussag AG and held leadership positions for various units of the Bertelsmann Group, including country CEO positions in BeNeLux, Portugal and Turkey, as well as group-level executive vice president positions for corporate development and M&A.

Koolhaas joined Kelly Services in 2008 as VP and regional general manager for Western Europe, where she led eight country general managers to deliver on regional and country-specific growth strategies. She was promoted to VP and operations leader for EMEA in 2013. Koolhaas started her career as a consultant at a logistic consultancy agency in Holland before moving to USG People, with whom she remained for more than 12 years. She holds an MBA and is a board member of the World Employment Confederation.

This year, Perrett supported the management buyout of a talent in-sourcing company, several refinancings and a group company roll-up and has advocated for driving standards in the industry.

Agostino Di Miao is general manager of Assolavoro, the Italian National Association for Employment Agencies representing more than 85% of the country’s market. Assolavoro faced a steep challenge this past year with the government’s introduction of the “Dignity Decree,” which would put tens of thousands of jobs at risk due to contract length and renewal limits. Di Miao and his team, along with trade unions, worked tirelessly to prepare and draft the Collective Labour Agreement to minimise this negative impact. Additionally, they promoted a high-impact advertising campaign to change the overall perception of the industry in Italy.

Herman Nijns is CEO of Randstad Belgium and Luxembourg and is president of the World Employment Confederation – Europe, a regional organization that represents the European staffing industry. Nijns also served from 2017 to 2020 as president of Federgon, the Belgian staffing industry association. Nijns started in staffing in 1988 at Interlabor Interim, a part of Randstad. He has led Randstad Group BeLux since 2005. This past May, Nijns added Denmark, Norway and Sweden to his list of responsibilities. He aims to strengthen the image of the World Employment Confederation – Europe through evidence-based thought leadership and a broader representation of HR Services.

She has worked in the recruitment industry since 1990 and established Alexander Mann Solutions as an autonomous division of the Alexander Mann Group in 1996. Blair is widely credited as the pioneer of recruitment process outsourcing in Europe. In 2007, she led the management buyout backed by Graphite Capital and stayed with the firm after it was sold to New Mountain Capital for almost €315 million in 2013.

In 2019, he and his team co-authored Cordant’s Social Impact Report, mapping a five-point strategy to improve work opportunities with a focus on purpose, not profits. A campaign was also launched to implement the real Living Wage. This year, Cordant Group was sold to Twenty20 Investors and set up Covenant Advisory, an independent consultancy that advises business leaders on their social purpose, whilst aligning shareholders with other stakeholders.

James Reed is chairman of Reed Global. Founded in 1960, it now has more than 3,000 employees working in 140 locations worldwide. During the Covid-19 crisis, Reed co-launched the Keep Britain Working campaign to preserve jobs and donated £100,000 to the National Emergencies Trust Covid Appeal, matched by a £100,000 donation from the Reed Foundation made via The Big Give. He joined the company in 1992 after graduating from Harvard Business School. Reed is also a published author and has written The 7 Second CV, Why You? and 101 Interview Questions You’ll Never Fear Again; he also co-authored Put Your Mindset to Work.
