Peter Searle has more than 28 years’ experience in recruitment having held managing director and chief executive positions with the Delphi Group, Ajilon and Adecco UK and Ireland. He is heavily involved in educational initiatives and was asked to appear on the UK government’s select committee for education in 2013. Searle has won multiple awards including a lifetime achievement award for his services to recruitment. In 2016, Searle became the CEO of the newly formed Airswift — following the merger of Air Energi and Swift Worldwide Resources — which specialises in global workforce solutions for the energy, process and infrastructure industries.

Green joined the REC in 2008, having been HR director at Royal Mail, where he was responsible for all people related issues for the business with its 165,000 employees. The REC is committed to raising recruitment standards and highlighting excellence throughout the industry. It represents 3,506 corporate members and 4,744 individual members within the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP), all of whom must abide by a code of professional practice.

Charles-Henri Dumon founded Morgan Philips in 2013. In 2018, the group acquired Hudson Global’s recruitment and talent management activities in Europe (except for the Benelux countries). Dumon also this year announced plans to create a talent management consulting firm, Morgan Philips Hudson Talent Consulting, in the UK, France, Spain and Poland. Prior to founding the Morgan Philips Group, he worked for 27 years with Michael Page, first as a consultant with Michael Page UK before moving up to leadership positions with Michael Page France and Michael Page International, where he was a member of the board of directors. He left Michael Page in 2013 as managing director of Continental Europe and the Americas.

A USA-qualified chartered accountant, Paul Venables started his career at Deloitte & Touche, where he was a senior manager in its USA practice. This was followed by a 13-year career at Exel plc, where he held a number of senior finance and operational roles, including deputy group finance director, and was a member of the executive board of Exel plc and chairman of its Acquisitions and Project Review Board. Following the acquisition of Exel plc by Deutsche Post, Venables worked in its DHL Logistics division before joining Hays plc. Venables was also senior independent nonexecutive director of Wincanton plc. until July 2015.

CEO of Affinity Workforce, Nicola McQueen has worked in the recruitment industry for more than 20 years, first joining Hays then moving to Capita. By 2010, she was appointed as managing director of Capita Resourcing and significantly grew the business, launching new services internationally and integrating strategic acquisitions to enhance the existing proposition. In 2016, McQueen was appointed as executive director of the Workplace Services division. Last year, McQueen led a management buyout of Capita’s specialist recruitment businesses, forming Affinity Workforce, now one of the largest privately owned public service recruitment specialists in the UK.

Lord Michael Ashcroft is an international businessman, author, philanthropist and pollster. He was appointed nonexecutive chairman of Impellam Group plc in 2014. Ashcroft resigned from the House of Lords in March 2015, stating that his other activities did not permit him “to devote the time that membership of the Lords properly required”. He is the founder and chairman of Crimestoppers, vice patron of the Intelligence Corps Museum, a trustee of Imperial War Museum, a trustee of the Cleveland Clinic in the US, ambassador to SkillForce, a trustee and president of the West India Committee, chairman of the Trustees of Ashcroft Technology Academy, and chancellor of Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.

In 2009, Watson became regional managing director for Michael Page UK finance, marketing and sales, Middle East, Scotland and Ireland. He is now responsible for PageGroup’s operations in the UK, US, Canada, Middle East and South Africa.
